TMF a national "Research Enabler non-profit umbrella organization for medical research networks in Germany (membership: >90 projects) adresses legal, ethical, technical, and organisational problems of networked medical research funded by the German Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) founded in 1999 parallel to the establishment of large scale collaboration projects in Germany interdisciplinary platform to identify and solve organizational, legal, ethical and technological problems of networked medical research provision of expert opinions, generic concepts and tools (IT applications, checklists, practical guides, training, consultation services) solutions available to the public free of charge! member / partner / German delegate in international consortia for data standardisation (e.g. CDSIC, HL7) and research infrastructures (e.g. ESBB, BBMRI, EHR4CR) ISO/IEC 15th Open Forum on Metadata Registries, Seite 2
