The MAG wire provides excellent welding, wetting and feeding characteristics. For robotic welding or the T.I.M.E.-process we recommend BÖHLER EMK 6 TOP, a non copper coated version of the solid wire BÖHLER EMK 6. It is designed for extremely high wire feed rates up to 30 m/minute. Its bright and corrosion protected wire surface ensures trouble-free wire feeding, lowest possible cleaning and maintenance of the wire liner because there are no copper residues and thus guarantees the best possible efficiency and operating capacity of robotic applications. Solid wire for MAG welding. Provides unique welding and feeding characteristics similar to BÖHLER EMK 6, but should be used where higher strengths are demanded. Its weld metal shows a stable austenitic micro structure DNV, , Kotlandzor with good pitting resistance (PR > 3) and crevice corrosion resistance as well as an excellent toughness behaviour down to -269 C. BÖHLER FOX ASN -A is a rutile-basic coated electrode providing good operating characteristics on DC and AC, easy slag removal, smooth and clean bead surfaces. It is recommeded for wall thicknesses < 1 mm. Both electrodes are characterized by an increased Mo content (.3%) to compensate for segregation in high molybdenum alloyed weld metals to meet equivalent corrosion as the relevant base metals with 3 - %Mo guarantee. Basic and rutile-basic coated electrodes. For CrNiMo steels with - % molybdenum where very high resistance against pitting and crevice corrosion is required. The above averagemolybdenum content (6.2%) is characteristic to BÖHLER FOX CN 20/2 M-A and FOX CN 20/2 M, thus compensating for segregation in high molybdenum alloyed weld metals. The pitting resistance equivalent (PR) is. FOX CN 20/2 M-A should be preferably used up to wall thicknesses of 1 mm. It is designed for excellent operating characteristics on DC/AC. s-no.
