NR (Natural Rubber): Beige Density 1.1 g/cm 3 Hardness (Shore A) 45 º Elongation 625 % Tensile Strenght 19 N/mm 2-50 ºC a 90 ºC (-58 ºF a 194 ºF) Excellent mechanical properties such as break strength, resilience and tear resistance. Excellent electrical insulating properties. Hot water/steam and polar solvents such as acetone, methanol or esters. IIR ( Butyl rubber): Density 1.27 g/cm 3 Hardness (Shore A) 60 º Elongation 400 % Tensile Strenght 9 N/mm 2-40 ºC a 135 ºC (-40 ºF a 275 ºF) Impermeable to gas and air.
