At least one or two of the evaluations should be from veterinarians with whom you have worked and who can evaluate your potential as a veterinarian. It is highly advised that at least two of your elors be written by DVMs for whom you may have worked. No more than 5 letters of recommendation will be accepted and no less than. The other two are the applicant s choice. The best individuals for these evaluations are those who know the applicant well enough to provide meaningful comments. At least one evaluation must be from a veterinarian with whom the applicant has interacted fairly extensively. It is highly recommended that one should come from a person in academia who could speak to the student's academic ability, preferably one who has taught in the pre professional curriculum. Other evaluations should come from individuals who can evaluate the oral and written communication skills as well as the scientific background of the applicant.
