3 Specifications The /611HE 1 valve can be used in filter or softener applications with tank sizes up to 16 in diameter. The valve can be configured for down flow or up flow regeneration.

4 610/611HE Features We have added new and innovative features to the 610/611 HE valve package. Back Wash Frequency Preset On clean municipal water supply there is no need to back wash and clean the bed every regeneration. Save water on each regeneration by skipping up to 10 backwash cycles. Auto Refresh When there is no water used for 7 days, the unit will automatically freshen the tank and plumbing system with a 10 minute back wash and rinse. Emergency Recharge Never run out of soft water. If reserve capacity is depleted by a spike in water usage, the system will automatically perform a quick 20 minute recharge regeneration to restore up to 33% system capacity. Soft Water Brine Tank Refill Conserves capacity and keeps brine tank cleaner by adding treated soft water to brine tankrather than raw untreated water. Backwash up to 16 Diameter Filters High back wash flow rate of 17GPM can back wash up to a 16 diameter sand filter.

7 Exclusive Upflow - Precision Brining Down-flow softener systems deplete the unused portion of the bed every regeneration. It is like draining the gas tank in your car every time before filling it up. The 610/611HE uses the precise amount of salt to only regenerate the used portion saving an additional 15-30% salt per regeneration.

8 Exclusive Upflow - Precision Brining The 610/611HE regenerates up-flow and never depletes the unused portion of the bed. It uses the preciseamount of salt needed to only regenerate the depleted portion of the softener resin. 1. At the end of a regeneration, fresh water is added to prepare 70% of the brine needed for the next regeneration. 2. Thirty minutes before a regeneration is scheduled, the computer inside the 610/611HE will calculate how much more water should be added to make enough brine needed to only regenerate the depleted portion of the softener resin. 3. The added fresh water dissolves more salt to create the precise amount of brine solution needed for each regeneration.
