2 SAE Hybrid and EV First and Second Responder Task Force Task Force Scope: Establish recommended practices and provide safety information to first and second responders regarding incidents involving vehicles that contain high voltage electrical systems. The task force reviews the fire, crash, and electrical system performance of high voltage vehicles involved in real world incidents, monitors safety regulations and other standards, and discusses new technology that may benefit the public safety community.
