Promotion Period: The California Pizza Kitchen Thank You Card Game ( Game ) begins on 5/08/12 and ends on 7/15/12 (the Promotion Period ). Thank You Card Game Envelopes (each, an Envelope ) will be distributed between 5/08/12 and 7/01/12, or while supplies last (the Distribution Period ). Envelopes can be redeemed between 5/09/12 and 7/15/12 (the Redemption Period ) if eligible. Eligibility: Game is open to legal residents of the U.S. who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Employees of California Pizza Kitchen ( Sponsor ), The Regan Group, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, retailers and advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child or sibling, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and individuals living in the same households of each of these individuals, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win. Promotion is not valid in Guam or at international locations. Florida Residents are only eligible to participate and win at California Pizza Kitchen ( CPK ) Florida locations only. Game is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. If a potential winner is at least 18 but still considered a minor in his/her state of jurisdiction of residence, prize may be awarded in the name of his/her parent or legal guardian who will be responsible for fulfilling all requirements imposed on winners set forth herein.

2 How to Obtain an Envelope: Visit a participating CPK in the continental U.S. or Hawaii (excluding CPK airport locations, CPK ASAP Fast Casual Restaurants, the CPK location at The Mirage in Las Vegas, stadiums, universities and KOP Travel Plaza) during the Distribution Period and obtain an Envelope, while supplies last by: 1) Dining at a participating CPK location, 2) Picking up a takeout order from a participating CPK location, 3) Without making a purchase, requesting an Envelope at any participating CPK restaurant while supplies last. To be valid, an Envelope must be signed and dated by the CPK Server on the day it is received and should not be opened by the participant. Opened Envelopes are invalid. Limit one (1) Envelope per person, per household, per visit during the Promotion Period. When using curbside service, the participant must enter the store to receive an Envelope. How to Play the Game: During the Redemption Period, bring your unopened signed and dated Envelope to a participating CPK location on a different day than when you received it. A CPK Manager or DSL will open the Envelope upon request and the CPK Manager or DSL will scratch off the prize section. The participant can only scratch off the prize section if it is in the presence of a CPK Manager or DSL. If the Envelope reveals a winning message, as determined by Sponsor, you will be a prize winner of the prize indicated, subject to verification of eligibility, validity of the Envelope and compliance with the terms of these Official Rules. All Envelopes opened by an individual other than a Manager or DSL at a participating CPK location and/or opened on the same day that the Envelope was received will be void. Prizes/Approximate Retail Value ( ARV )/Odds of Winning: There are approximately 2,998,000 Envelopes in distribution. All prizes are randomly seeded across the universe of Envelopes. Prizes are as follows: Grand Prize (1): One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) awarded in the form of a check. One (1) Grand Prize is available. ARV: $100,000. Odds of winning: 1 in 2,998,000. First Prize (1): Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) awarded in the form of a check. One (1) First Prize is available. ARV: $50,000. Odds of winning: 1 in 2,998,000. Second Prize (1): Twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) awarded in the form of a check. One (1) Second Prize is available. ARV: $25,000. Odds of winning: 1 in 2,998,000. Third Prizes (5): Five thousand dollars ($5,000) awarded in the form of a check. Five (5) Third Prizes are available. ARV: $5,000 each. Odds of winning: 1 in 599,600.

3 Fourth Prizes (4): Four (4) Fourth prizes are available. Winners will receive a trip for two (2) to The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel in California on dates to be determined by Sponsor. Trip includes round trip coach class air transportation from a major U.S. gateway airport nearest winner s residence to designated location, four (4) nights and five (5) days hotel accommodations (one (1) room, double occupancy), and a check for two hundred and fifty dollars ($250) will be issued in the name of the winner that may be used toward ground transportation to/from the airport/hotel. ARV: $3,750 each. Hotel stays are based on availability and include pool/garden view accommodations, daily resort fee and overnight valet parking. Certain travel restrictions and blackout dates may apply. All other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided including, but not limited to, all federal, state and local taxes, souvenirs, luggage fees, additional ground transportation, meals, and gratuities are the sole responsibility of the winners. Travel arrangements must be made in advance through Sponsor s agent, on a carrier of Sponsor s choice, at least thirty (30) days prior to travel. Trip must be taken within one (1) year from date prize is awarded or prize will be forfeited and Sponsor will have no further obligation to such winner. Prize certificates will be valid through July 15, Each winner and his/her guest must travel together on the same itinerary. Guest must be of the legal age of majority in his/her state of residence (and at least 18 years of age) unless child or legal ward of winner and must execute and return a liability/publicity release prior to issuance of travel documents. If guest is child or legal ward of winner, winner must sign and return release on behalf of such child or legal ward. If a winner resides within a 100-mile radius of destination, Sponsor reserves the right to provide ground transportation in lieu of air transportation and no compensation or substitution will be provided for difference in prize value. Each winner and his/her guest are responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documents (including passports) prior to travel. Actual value may vary based on point of departure and dates of travel. Odds of winning: 1 in 749,500. Fifth Prizes (10): Twenty five hundred dollars ($2,500) awarded in the form of a check. Ten (10) Fifth prizes are available. ARV: $2,500 each. Odds of winning: 1 in 299,800. Sixth Prizes (17): One thousand dollars ($1,000) awarded in the form of a check. Seventeen (17) Sixth prizes are available. ARV: $1,000 each. Odds of winning: 1 in 176,353. Seventh Prize (10): A $1,000 Shopping Spree to Neiman Marcus awarded in the form of a gift certificate. ARV: $1,000 each. Ten (10) Seventh prizes are available. Odds of winning: 1 in 299,800.

4 Eighth Prize (10): CPK frozen pizzas for one (1) year, awarded as fifty-two (52) coupons, each redeemable for one (1) CPK frozen pizza. Coupons are valid at any participating stores where product is available ARV: $349 each. Ten (10) Eighth prizes are available. Odds of winning: 1 in 299,800. Ninth Prizes (143,901): Winners will receive 50% off one (1) CPK meal at a participating CPK location. One hundred forty-three thousand, nine hundred one (143,901) Ninth prizes are available. Offer valid for parties of ten (10) or fewer. Offer expires 7/15/12. Dine-in and take-out only. Not valid on delivery or curbside service. Alcohol, tax and gratuity excluded. All federal, state and local taxes, and all costs and expenses related to the acceptance and use of the prizes not specified herein as being provided are the sole responsibility of the winners. Prizes will be awarded as is with no warranty or guarantee, either expressed or implied by Sponsor. CPK Frozen Pizza for a Year certificates and discounts are subject to terms and conditions as specified by Sponsor. Certificates may not be used online or in conjunction with any other offer or

5 discount and expire one (1) year from the date issued. Discounts expire on 7/15/12. Prize Redemption and Notification: All Prizes must be claimed by close of business at California Pizza Kitchen Restaurants on 7/15/12. All potential winners will receive immediate prize notification instructions from a CPK Manager or DSL following the opening of their Envelope. Potential Grand Prize winner through potential Eighth Prize winners will be contacted via U.S. mail using the mailing address provided to the Manager or DSL at the applicable CPK location by the winner within sixty (60) days following verification of the winning Envelope, eligibility and compliance with the terms of these Official Rules. Potential Grand Prize winner through potential Eighth Prize winners will be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release and, where legal, a publicity release, within fourteen (14) days of date of issuance or prize may be forfeited and Sponsor will have no further obligation to such winner. If prize is returned as undeliverable, documents are not returned within the stated time period or in the event of noncompliance with these Official Rules, prize may be forfeited and Sponsor will have no further obligation to such winner. In the event any Grand Prize through Eighth Prizes remain unclaimed, they will not be awarded. The Ninth Prize through Eleventh Prize will be awarded in store during the Redemption Period using the valid Envelope with the corresponding valid winning message. Background Check: If Sponsor so elects, a potential prize winner may be required to submit to, and cooperate in, a confidential background check to confirm eligibility and to help ensure that the use of any such person in advertising or publicity for the Promotion will not bring Sponsor into public disrepute, contempt, scandal or ridicule or reflect unfavorably on the Promotion or the Sponsor as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. If requested, potential winner will agree to such background check and understand and agree that Sponsor may disqualify such winner based on the results of the background check. General: By participating, participants agree (a) to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and judges, which are final and binding in all matters; (b) to the use by Sponsor and its designees of their names, cities and states of residence and likenesses for advertising, promotional and other purposes in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity without additional compensation, notification or permission, unless prohibited by law; and (c) to release, discharge and hold harmless Sponsor, The Regan Group and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, retailers, distributors, suppliers, advertising and promotion agencies, and any other individuals engaged in any way in the development, production, printing, distribution or execution of this Game, and the respective directors, officers, and employees of the foregoing (collectively, the Released Parties ) from any liability, claims, losses and damages arising out of or relating to their participation

6 in this Game and the acceptance, use, misuse or possession of any prize received (including any travel or activity related thereto). Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, stolen, damaged, inaccurate, incomplete, illegible, mutilated or counterfeit Envelopes, prize claims or data corruption, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of Envelopes, loss or otherwise. Released Parties are not responsible for any other errors, malfunctions or problems of any kind, whether printing, seeding, typographical, technical, human or otherwise, relating to or in connection with this Game, including, without limitation, errors, malfunctions or problems which may occur in connection with the administration of the Game, the announcement of the prizes, the processing of Envelopes or prize claims or in any Game-related materials. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or terminate this Game, should any technical failures, unauthorized human intervention or other causes corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Game. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any participant from this Game or any other promotion conducted now or in the future by Sponsor or any of its affiliates if his/her fraud or misconduct affects the integrity of the Game or who is otherwise in violation of these Official Rules, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, and void all associated Envelopes. You are not a winner until your eligibility and Envelope have been verified, and it is determined that you have complied with all terms of these Official Rules. Envelopes are void if they contain any printing, mechanical, seeding, typographical or other errors, if they have been tampered with or obtained other than through authorized channels or if they are not presented for prize claim by close of business on 7/15/12. In no event will more prizes be awarded than set forth herein. If computer, printing, mechanical, seeding, typographical or other errors result in more valid prize claims for any prize level than the number stated herein, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to award the stated number of prizes for that level in a random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect and valid prize claims received for such level. All submitted materials in connection with this Game become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS GAME IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS FEES) FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
