2 Option 1 Planning Calendar Planning your Soul-Winning Commitment Day

3 Option 1 Planning Calendar There are two different options for Soul-Winning Commitment Day. The difference between the two options is that Option 1 enlists and trains Intercessors that will commit to select five neighbors for whom they will make personal contact and pray over an eight-week period.

4 6-8 Weeks Prior to Soul-Winning Commitment Day Review Download and review the Option 1 Leader Guide. Develop a timeline that best fits your needs Share this strategy with staff and key church leaders Set the date of your Soul-Winning Commitment Day

5 Plan Working with staff and church leaders, determine a simple activity/event you would like to occur at least one month after your Soul-Winning Commitment Day. Select leaders to plan the simple event/activity Select a date for the event/activity Schedule and hold a planning meeting Explain the PYNC emphasis to congregation

6 Prepare Gather materials/supplies for your simple event/activity that has been planned Prepare a special evangelistic sermon series Distribute School Lessons on prayer to the teachers Develop your Order of Worship with music leader

7 4 Weeks Prior to Soul-Winning Commitment Day Enlist and Train Enlist intercessors and provide their Participant Prayer Guide Provide prayer and evangelism training for Intercessors Intercessors begin prayer-walking neighborhoods

8 Preach and Teach Preach four sermons on prayer and evangelism. Teach a personal evangelism class. In school/small groups teachers present the four lessons on Prayer

9 On Soul-Winning Commitment Day Commission & Commit Preach a strong motivational sermon on personal evangelism. Commission Intercessors Provide an opportunity for other members to make a commitment to evangelistic activity

10 Simple Overview of Option 1 During 10 Weeks after Soul-Winning Commitment Day If you are planning your Soul-Winning Commitment Day on October 2nd: Pray & Invest The church will plan a special event/activity for late October/November. It could be a simple block party, a special sermon series, Halloween alternative, concert, and so on. 14 11 Weeks After Soul-Winning Commitment Day Week 11: Have Your Simple Event/Activity When guests come, make sure you register and obtain contact information for each person. Insure that you share Christ and have opportunities for non-believers to respond to the gospel. Provide each new believer with follow-up materials. Pastor promotes new message series, church events Continue to pray

15 12 Weeks After Soul-Winning Commitment Day Week 12: Begin Follow-up Continue praying, witnessing, and following up. Insure that each new Christian receives appropriate contact and seek to assimilate them into the life of your church.
