If you would like more information, please contact us at INTRODUCTION The records of the Missouri Department of Anatomy contain departmental papers and correspondence with other departments, colleges, and university officials. DONOR INFORMATION The records were donated to the Missouri by the Department of Anatomy on 14 October 1966 (Accession No. WUNP3685). FOLDER LIST f Correspondence relating to the Michigan hospital, the possibility of a free general state hospital at the Missouri. There are letters dealing with the medical school curriculum, notices from the Board of Curators, appointments regarding student assistants, committees for examinations, correspondence between the anatomy department and the registrar's office. Various optical and instrument companies are represented, as is the business office. A listing of the active members of the Missouri Chapter of Sigma Xi for the period is included. f Correspondence about departmental appropriations, fees, course sequences, publications in professional journals, appointments, price listings for equipment, and information on research fellowships. Much of the correspondence is between the department and various instrument and optical companies. Letters about examinations, travel regulations, recommendations, applications, biographical sketches, supplies, Sigma Xi listing of faculty members who had left the University, grading systems, committees, reprints, information on Columbia Paroffin Ovens, Army ROTC, building and space allocations, evaluations, University bylaws, the Clinic Bulletin, and enrollment instructions. f Correspondence relating to enrollment, supplies for various types of experiments, appointments, conferences with colleagues from other institutions, travel data, admission of students into the department. There is information concerning experiments, recommendations, professional publications and article reprints. Letters concern graduate theses, personnel, and The Missouri School Journal. Included is information relating to slides, Turtox News, Sigma Xi committee on schedule, biographies, and a letter relating to the state anatomical board.
