1 PROGRAM ADVICE AND SUPPORT Undergraduate programs PROGRAM ADVISOR Your Program Advisor has a thorough knowledge of a degree program. Your Program Advisor can help you ensure that you are following the requirements and structure of the degree program as well as qualify you in your program at the end of your degree. You should contact your Program Advisor if you have any enquiries of an administrative manner regarding your degree at UON. If you wish to contact your program advisor, you may do so by phone or . If you would like to book an appointment to see your program advisor, you can do so at any Student Hub. PROGRAM CONVENOR Your Program Convenor is an academic staff member with overall responsibility for the management and quality of your program. Your Program Convenor is a good person to contact for advice on academic matters, including career advice and course recommendations to suit your interests and study plans. Each degree program at the UON has a Program Convenor and Program Advisor whom you may contact for advice and support. You will find a list of these for each program below. GENERAL ENQUIRIES If you are unsure who to speak to, or for any general enquiries, please phone the University Enquiry line on (02) Staff can ensure your enquiry is directed to the appropriate person for support and action. STUDENT HUBS The Student Hubs are the first point of contact for essential student services at the University of Newcastle. Each Hub offers a place to access information about the University's facilities, services and procedures. At the Hubs you can submit and collect your assignments, meet friends, use computer and printing facilities, or grab a coffee and a bite to eat.
