4 Octanorm vs Expo Panels At The Exhibitionist we offer a number of exhibition systems for expos but a majority of our events are built using one of two systems, Octanorm or Expo Panels. Each system has different qualities and will affect some of your stand upgrade options. OCTANORM: indoors only most flexible white panels expo panels: indoors / outdoors velcro compatible charcoal panels Octanorm offers a clean line appearance designed to enable many upgrades and additional built-in features. It is recognised worldwide and offers near-endless flexibility with exhibitions. Also known as Corinthian or Frontrunner, this exhibition system provides a flush, Velcro compatible wall, speedy construction and strength to support heavy weights, This system is suited to exhibitors who require a strong, smooth panel surface. 5 standard booth OCTANORM A standard booth contains: White foamulux walls - 2.4m high 1 x Octanorm fascia board (per open end) 1 x printed company name 2 x spotlights 1 x 4 amp powerboard (4 outlets) 1 x trestle table - 1.8m long 2 x chairs FIXINGS Preferred: velcro (adhesive back - both sides required), Blu-tak. Do not use double-sided tape, nails, screws, pins. COMPANY NAMES Please let your conference organiser know the name you wish to appear on your fascia. 17 You ve got the power Most standard booth packages includes a single 4 amp powerboard with 4 outlets and 2 spotlights (depending on your event and budget requirements). Depending on what appliances you wish to use, you can order additional power to be installed in various places to accommodate multiple electrical devices throughout the booth. Electrical Appliances Due to electricity supply constraints in certain areas of venues, it is essential that exhibitors detail all the appliances that they will use at their site, with order confirmation. If you are unsure of your electrical supply requirements, contact The Exhibitionist and we will be happy to assist you. Tagged & Tested Tagged & Tested Any exhibitors intending to bring electrical equipment to the event will be required to ensure that such equipment is tagged and tested and within their expiry date. You must also ensure that all electrical leads, tools and appliances are in good condition and meet all safety standards and requirements. A qualified electrician from The Exhibitionist can be onsite during installation and is available to test and tag, if required. There is a fee for this service - payable by the exhibitor direct to The Exhibitionist.! PLEASE NOTE: Power supplied is only suitable for laptops, small flat screens, DVD players, media players and charging phones etc. All other electrical equipment will need separate circuits ie kettles, toasters, hair dryers, printers, projectors, power tools etc. If in doubt call us! what are your electrical requirements?
