3 What s New in Agilysys WMx WMx Workforce Management 5.5.x, 6.0.x Affordable Care Act (ACA) Period Thresholds Addition of functionality to define the standard and initial measurement periods along with parameters to set the reporting thresholds for Part Time and Full Time staff. Overtime Award Functionality Extension Addition of functionality to manage the allocation of overtime hours towards non-home job, and/or non-home work center, and/or non-home operation or a combination of these selections. Model Scheduling Addition of functionality to permit customers to store a set of scheduled shifts to a named template and then to load that template for future schedules as needed. Common uses of Model templates are for small to medium size operators where schedule volume is set in bands based on forecasted business and for special occasion scheduled such as holidays, local events or specific sized parties. WMx Pay Record Module Improvements Addition of single employee view to assist managers and payroll staff who need to review records for compliance or hours worked. WMx Enterprise Alert Service Notify both WMx Users and employees, employees through MyWMx, when critical events happen or don't happen such as posting schedules, editing or approving pay records, employee shift, availability and pay requests and much more (New module fee may apply). WMx Manager Messaging WMx users (Managers) can compose and send a message to staff or other WMx users which will be display as an application Alert, sent as , or sent as SMS text. Message distribution can be to selected jobs, staff, users or a combination. MyWMx Mobile for Smart Phones (Upgrade to base MyWMx) Employee App Allow employees to check schedules, swap shifts, pick up shifts, request time off on iphones and Android phones. Provide your managers with powerful applications and real- 1

4 time alerts including schedule posting, pay period closed, employee requests and many more. These new applications allow your managers to proactively manage their workforce. Check out a little vignette we put together on the latest MyWMx Manager app. MyWMx Mgr Mobile App Demo MyWMx Manager Portal Provide the current WMx PC Clock reports for Breaks Due, Break Violations and Approaching Overtime as web enabled items, providing real-time alerts to managers via the MyWMx Manager portal from their iphone, Android phone, ipad or any PC (New module fee may apply). Ease of Use Enhancements Added to Numerous Modules Daily Scheduling Quick jump arrows are now at the top of the screen to allow users to quickly move from one day to the next 72 hour view - 3 days worth of schedules can know be displayed at a time which can greatly improve scheduling coverage in 24 hour operations Weekly Scheduling Enhanced display controls Size all columns to fit their current window View only current 7 days of week e.g. remove last day of prior week and first day of next week All preferences set are stored in the user profile Enhanced filtering options Filter the list of displayed employees based on those for the selected job or only those with schedule shifts for selected job 2

5 Filtering now supported for both Day Part and Station label display guides General usage Added Windows standard controls to Ctrl-X to cut and Ctrl-V to paste Forecasting Workflow shortcuts Added quick links for Actual/Adjusted Actual/Base Forecast and Adjusted Forecast to the main dialog at the top of the forecasting module to allow the user to quickly change from each view and/or quickly identify which worksheet they are currently viewing. Break Waiver Enhancement Provided a means to electronically and securely record employee break waivers and the effective dates for such waivers. The implementation allows WMx to be configured to differentiate between employees who have break waivers in effect and those who do not for the purposes of both scheduling and time record administration and for employees who have no break waiver in effect, automate the accrual of a break penalty (add one paid hour to the shift) to assure that pay records comply with statutory labor rules regarding break-rule violations. Application Administration Tools Enterprise Configuration Tool updates with new features and usability improvements. Updated the device integration tools (Device Configuration and Device Status for running devices) with improved performance, better user control where multiple devices can be enabled and executed and execution sequence control. Human Resources for Ver. 6.0.x Agilysys introduces field and customer configuration for the WMx Human Resource module. This change to the management of the Human Resource module fields will provide increased flexibility for customers to customize the fields needed to optimize the employee record management within the WMx software.
