3 Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degrees Art History Studio Art Music Film & Television Theatre Arts These are Liberal Arts Degrees and Require a Minor
4 Bachelor of Arts (BA)Degrees Require: A minimum of 120 total degree units 42 upper-division ( level) units
5 Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) Art Education (Teaching and Community Museums) Studio Art (2D, 3D, Photography, and Visual Communication) Dance Film & Television Musical Theatre Theatre Production (Professional Actor Training, Design & Technical Production Theatre History & Dramaturgy)
6 Bachelor of Music Degrees (BM) Music Education Composition Jazz Studies Performance (Voice &Instruments: Harp, Piano, Flute etc.) BFA & BM Degrees are Concentrated degrees and a minor is not required. It is an option.

9 Academic Requirements Second Language Placement This test is NOT the same as language proficiency. A Placement Test helps us place you in the language class where you will be most successful. It is recommended that all students take one of the available placement exams. Test through your Next Steps Center through August 25. After August 25 th, you can schedule an exam at
10 Academic Requirements Second Language Proficiency Proficiency involves demonstrating a certain level of competence in a specific language. ALL UA students need to demonstrate a proficiency in Second Language in order to graduate. BA Students Demonstrate 4 th semester proficiency BM, and BFA Students Demonstrate 2 nd semester proficiency
