1 Low Enrolled, Common First Year, & 1 or 2 Credit Courses Fall 2016 (As of ) This list contains courses that are currently under enrolled and/or typically available to first-year students. Some of these classes have more than one section available. Please refer to the registrar s Class Schedules for a complete list of course offerings. In addition, this list contains one and two credit courses for those students needing one or more credits to complete their desired course load. Accounting, Business, Economics EB-101 Intro to Business 3 credits Staff Multiple sections EB-105 International Economic Issues 3 credits Andrew Multiple sections EB Financial Accounting 3 credits Peruso MWF 9-9:50 a.m. EB ST: Entr. Creative Thinking 3 credits Anderson MWF 1-1:50 p.m. Most of us begin to lose our creativity after the age of 5. Our lives grow in complexity as we get older and unfortunately, for many of us, our ability to access creative solutions to problems, big and small, weakens. Whether trying to come up with an innovative business idea, solving a problem in the workplace, or solving a global social problem, creative blocks, self-doubt, and habitual thinking patterns slowly creep into our mindsets and replace our once, playful, imaginative spirit. This course will teach students to use creative thinking approaches to decision-making and problem solving. By learning this process students develop skills to help them become more successful at discovering new opportunities in any environment by refining their problem solving, listening, decision-making and team working skills. This course will actively engage students in developing tangible, conceptual frameworks to problem solve. Taught through a combination of lectures, hands-on class work, and guest lectures, Entrepreneurial Creative Thinking is a course focused on applied innovative thinking.
