This insurance cover was selected by Business France via Filhet Allard & Co. You have the option of supplementing your healthcare cover with VI top-up insurance. Do you want to avoid having to contribute to costs if you're admitted to hospital or need to consult a doctor? Looking for improved dental cover? More extensive optical cover? Discover VI top-up, an insurance solution with higher healthcare reimbursement caps for you and your beneficiaries, as well as a medical advisory service (only available in French). It's simple: receive a single reimbursement including both the payment from the Business France compulsory plan and the VI top-up payment. How does the Vi top-up plan improve my HealtHcare cover? Abroad: > A better level of cover for hospital stays in a private room, up to 200 > Your first 4 consultations are covered at uncapped > Your dental care is covered at up to 800/year and the reimbursement cap for dentures is doubled In France: > Your hospitalisation and routine medical and dental costs (medical and surgical fees, consultations, tests, X-rays etc.) are covered at up to 200% of the French Social Security reimbursement rate: thus doubling the level of the caps > You also get a higher cap for dentures Details of your cover can be found on pages 3 and 4. Some examples of reimbursements worldwide: Emily, an International Volunteer in Brazil for the last 6 months, needs new glasses. The optician presents her with a 420 bill. The compulsory VI plan reimburses 300. The VI top-up plan reimburses 96. She has only 24 left to pay (instead of 120 if she hadn't taken out the VI top-up insurance). After three months in the United States, Thomas notices a cyst appearing on his hand and decides to consult a dermatologist. The consultation costs him 355. The compulsory VI plan reimburses The top-up plan covers 100% of the actual cost of the consultation, i.e. the remaining Thomas has nothing to pay. The above amounts are converted into euros from the local currency. 5 monthly premiums 2015 (all taxes included) The level of your premium depends on your country of assignment as well as the status of the insured person (volunteer, spouse or child). Premiums are valid until 31/12/2015 and may be readjusted on 1 st January of each year. Zone 1: Canada and United States. Zone 2: China, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, Russia, Singapore and Switzerland.
