5 Distributed Intelligence & Self Learning Algorithms Todays Smart Building Solutions are not too Smart Fragmented No learning or ability to personalise No location based services Self learning algorithms for each room/zone functions (heat, lighting, occupancy) can enable intelligent building management of services Heat maps for Zones Occupation information to refine services Overlaying local contextual information Integrate with enterprise back-end applications Rules based decision algorithms can be developed to provide intelligent HVAC, lighting and security services 5
