1 Alipay Payment method guide Alipay is the most widely used third-party online payments service provider in China, with over 100 million daily transactions and over 400 million active users. Its primary product is a digital wallet, Alipay Wallet, which also includes a mobile app that allows customers to conduct transactions directly from their mobile devices. Users typically have a broad range of payment options when paying via Alipay. Owned by commerce conglomerate Alibaba, Alipay provides payment services for major Alibaba ecommerce platforms such as Taobao and Tmall. As the dominant payment method in China, supporting Alipay on your website or app has enormous benefits. Alipay benefits: Access to the fast-growing Chinese market, connecting with over 400 million registered users and more than 460,000 Chinese businesses Option of different funding sources for cards attached to the Alipay wallet Alipay Cross-Border E-Payment Service, which allows Chinese buyers to pay in their local currency (CNY) without having to set up a local entity or bank account. One-click / recurring payments For interested merchants, Adyen offers one-click/recurring payments, which provides a seamless experience for returning visitors to your site or app. Note this option requires merchants to be PCI compliant, and they would be responsible for fraudulent chargebacks with this integration. Customers select their funding source, confirm their payment by entering their Alipay password, then selecting "confirm" 4. When the payment is successful, they are redirected back to the merchant's page
