61 Conclusions Problematic in the Canary Islands has been successfully solved Nurseries with a very high level of control Difficulty in eradicating outside nurseries (private gardens, etc) Huge cost in prevention and eradication programmes Budget limitations Urgent necessity of developing new technologies destined to: Early detection Fight and Prevention
