4 what is bubble? 4 / 42 Studio bubble We are a collective and independent Studio; our field is visual communication and illustration, both used to create dynamic systems in order to achieve different users, helping them to understand the message quickly and correctly. We design visual identity, layout and website, packaging, illustration for children and books for all ages. Bubble people Our Studio is formed by Valentina, Laura and Elisabetta, three young and entusiastic Designer, ready to enjoy making books and stuff. In the following pages we will show you a brief portfolio with our works.

7 grafiche celori cover 7 / 42 A brochure we made for the Celori Print Shop in Terni (TR) Italy. The print shop wanted an image that brought to mind both tradition and innovation and we underlined those values: classical elements (like the inventory photos and the vintage font) were placed side by side with modern solutions (the contrasted colours palette and the vector illustrations), suggesting both opens to new and attention to the historical values of the company.

11 eco zona cover 11 / 42 Ecozona is a free bulletin that is distributed in the city of Terni. It s purpose is to raise awareness towards environmental issues, especially the disposal of urban waste. We created two different visual styles: the vector illustrations were used to decorate the magazine pieces, and we edited the sponsor s pages, where collages were placed. We edited the advertising sections in order to create something that goes in harmony with the newspaper layout.

21 la bufala è servita locandina nazionale 21 / 42 La Bufala è Servita it s an annual appointment organized by Italia per La Scienza in various Italian cities. The pourpouse of this event is to promote scientific education and help the public avoid some common mistakes and false beliefs about science. The event promote open lectures and debates. We decided to use a language that would attract the general public, to move away from an elitist idea of science as a subject/matter reserved for a select few. The event was promoted by a poster series, in each one of them there s a group of basic elements (a table, some dishes, some items) that appears in different colours and shapes for each city. The table, mainly, is meant as a place where it is possible to meet and discuss, reinforcing the idea that to advance and progress, in any area of knowledge, interest, curiosity and debate around the topic are necessary.

27 nessuno s.a. 27 / 42 The aim of the project was to raise public awareness in the general public to the necessity of animal testing. The latest European regulations (which have yet to be adopted in Italy) promote promotes a transitional phase, with the intent of slowly reducing and in the end altogether banning animal testing in all those areas where it is deemed possible. In our country there is a lot of confusion and misinformation regarding this issue. In order to veicolate important information in a clear manner we adopted a very simple narrative and visual style. 40 who we are 40 / 42 Valentina 26 year old, born in Bologna, I ve always been into drawing so I attended an art school and then I studied at ISIA Urbino until I graduated in I devour illustrated books and graphic novels, I m absolutely fascinated by engraving and analogic printing tecniques and also by every handmade approach to illustration that conteplates the use of inks and gets my hands dirty. My creative field is mainly illustration and my hands on approach is reflected in every work I create. Laura My name is Laura Belli, I am 27 years old and I was born in Italy. I graduated from isia Urbino, a graphic design college, in I have been drawing since I was a child, then I finally decided to match my work with my main passion and Iive been working as illustrator from the I love comics, videogames and cartoons so I am sure you are able to see those influences in my works. I enjoy to illustrate essentially anything, so I will be very happy to work with you!
