8 About us Olympia Electronics was founded in The company is active in developing innovative electronic safety and security systems by using state of the art technology. The Human resource of Olympia Electronics is 165 employees, with 10% in R & D dept. The company is the dominant Greek enterprise in the electronics safety and security industry. Olympia Electronics products are exported in 72 countries worldwide. Olympia Electronics is one of the oldest and largest Electrical & Electronic manufacturers in Greece and in 1981 entered in emergency lighting manufacturing process. In 1985 entered in fire alarm manufacturing process. In 1986 became the dominant firm in Greece as concerns Electronic Safety and Security industry. In 1989 we are starting our export activities During 1990 and 1999 the company expands its products (9 families) while is remaining the dominant firm in the market. During 1999 and 2004 the company is awarded by many institutions for its successful & innovative business activities. On February 2005 we gained the EFQM (European Foundation Quality for Management) recognition

18 1010a Certifications OLYMPIA ELECTRONICS S.A. aiming in the quality, has adopted in the last years, production and inspection procedures that have supplied the market with products that are totally in accordance with European construction prototypes (ΕΝ). For the production, the company applies advanced systems world class manufacturing such as lean systems, TPM, 5S which give it competitive advantages. its products allocate certificates from various laboratories such as : LPCB, VdS, TUV, H.E.E.Q.A.C, Lloyd s, EVPU, ANCO, EMV, PHOENIX TEST LAB, LS, MIKES BABT or countries as UAE,GOST, EURO CERT e.t.c. and CE marking. The company applies a complete management system IQMS oly q which includes quality management systems, as well as environmental, hygiene and personnel safety management systems. Olympia Electronics S.A. has been certified according to ISO9001, OHSAS 18001, ISO and for the second time (first time in 2005) has been accredited the European enterprise distinction in the scope of EFQM Levels of Excellence. Also since 2011 the company holds the bee bronze award of the European Business Ethics Network.

We export to 72 countries of Abroad in the following geographic regions: European Union Eastern European countries & Russia Middle East and countries of Gulf Africa U.S.A.
