Under this scheme, you and your family spend a maximum of 144 each month on approved prescribed drugs and medicines. You may apply for the scheme from your local HSE office or health centre. 23
25 How do I know if I am eligible for services provided by the HSE? The most direct way to check your eligibility is to contact your local health centre or the medical social worker in your hospital. You can also contact the HSE office in your area. But remember payments will not be offered automatically to you. It is up to you to apply for them. You or your spouse (wife/husband) can apply separately for benefits, as in some cases you may have individual entitlements.
