1 COURSE EQUIVALENCIES To aid the efft and direction of the Califnia Command Certification System, the criteria outlined in the attached document has been adopted to recognize course equivalencies. This analysis was accomplished by comparing the National Wildfire Codinating () PMS-310-1, January 2000 course outlines and content to like similar courses provided by the Califnia State (), Califnia Festry and Fire (CDF), (), Joint Apprenticeship Committee (JAC), and community college course wk. courses not required f ICS position certification are not included. The goal of course equivalencies are to minimize redundancy of training, expedite the certification process, and avoid repetitive costs due to duplication of curriculum delivery. It is not the purpose of the equivalency matrix to dilute the intent of the course curriculum. In comparative analysis, the identified equivalent course wk meets exceeds the intent of the course content identified f comparison.
