2 Business Challenge In a series of mergers and acquisitions, the bank had become the owner of two different bank card systems based in two countries, Hungary and Slovakia. These external systems had to be integrated and synchronized with the bank s existing card services applications. The high-level requirements for this complicated integration were: Synchronize balances between the parent bank and the subsidiaries Audit synchronization processing for system management and historical reporting Service bus architecture must be designed to work during scheduled downtimes in the bank s core systems Provide enterprise-level reporting for card accounts from parent and subsidiaries Luxoft Delivered Solution Luxoft was selected as the bank s development partner based on the depth of the business knowledge, technology expertise, competitive terms, quality of the system development process, the availability of qualified support personnel, and the long-term collaboration potential.
