4 Blackjack The object of Blackjack, the most popular game in the casino, is to draw cards that will come closer than the dealer to 21, but not exceed 21. The game begins with the player making a wager in the area designated on the table. Each player receives two cards and the dealer receives two cards, one card face down and the other card face up. Rules Cards are counted at their face value. All face cards count as 10. Aces count as either 1 or 11. A Blackjack is a total of 21 on the original two cards. Blackjack pays one and a half times the bet. A Blackjack cannot lose; it will tie (push) if the dealer has a Blackjack. When dealt any other two-card combination, the player can stand (refuse additional cards) or, when it s one s turn, signal the dealer for a hit (receive additional cards). If the player s hand is closer to 21 than the dealer s, the player wins. If the dealer s hand is closer to 21 than the player s, the house wins. In the event of a tie, neither hand wins nor loses; it is a push. Splitting pairs When the first two cards received are of the same value, the player has the option of SPLITTING them to form two separate hands. Pairs may be split up to three times for a total of four hands. The wager on each hand must equal the original wager. Each hand may be hit as many times as desired. When splitting Aces, each ace may receive one card only. Aces may be split only once. Double down Players have the option of increasing their wager by DOUBLING DOWN after the first two cards are received. The DOUBLE DOWN wager may be an amount up to the amount of the original wager. The hand will then receive one additional card only. A player may DOUBLE DOWN after a split, but may not DOUBLE DOWN after splitting Aces or after receiving a Blackjack.

5 Insurance When the dealer s up card is an Ace, the player may make an additional wager known as INSURANCE. INSURANCE protects the player s hand against the possibility of the dealer having a Blackjack. At the dealer s prompt, one may wager up to half of the original wager. The player is betting that the dealer s hole card has a value of 10. If the hole card has a value of 10, the INSURANCE wager is paid 2 to 1. If the hole card is not a value of 10 the INSURANCE wager loses. Remember the INSURANCE wager is completely separate from the original wager. The game continues as normal after INSURANCE activity is settled. Lucky Lucky side wager This side wager is based on the player s first two cards and the dealer s up card. Any three-card combination of 19 or higher wins according to the posted pay table. 6 Caribbean Stud Poker Caribbean Stud is a Five Card Progressive Poker game played against the house. Play begins with each player placing an ante bet in the designated ante box. Players receive five cards face down, and the dealer receives four cards face down and one card face up. As in traditional stud poker, players will not have an opportunity to draw more cards and they must decide whether to raise or fold. When a player folds, the ante bet is forfeited. When a player plays, the raise bet is double the ante bet. After all players decide to raise or fold, the dealer s cards are turned face up. If the dealer does not have an Ace/King or higher, the players are paid even money on their ante bet and there is no action on the raise bet. If the dealer has an Ace/King or higher, the dealer s hand is compared to each player s hand. In each case, the best poker hand wins. If the dealer s hand beats the player s hand, the dealer collects the ante and the raise bet. 7 Progressive jackpot In addition to the normal Caribbean Stud game, players can win an additional $ 10,000 or more by placing a $ 1.00 chip in the betting area above the ante box before each new game begins. The progressive meter increases as more players bet the jackpot bonus option. Progressive winnings are paid according to the schedule below, regardless of whether or not the player s hand beats the dealer s hand. 8 Three Card Poker With two betting methods, this game offers two games in one. A person can bet one method or the other, or both, giving three ways to play. Plus, a unique extra bonus feature allows the player four ways to win. Wagers Bet the ante to play against the dealer. Bet the pair plus to play the hand value only. Bet the ante and the pair plus to play both. Ante and pair plus may be different amounts. Ante and pair plus must be placed before cards are dealt. 11 Texas Hold'em Bonus Poker Texas Hold em Bonus is an exciting hold em style game that features head-to-head play against the dealer and an optional Bonus bet. An ANTE wager must be made in order to place a BONUS wager. Play Players make an ante wager prior to the deal. After being dealt their first two cards, players can either fold or make another wager equal to twice their ante bet to continue playing. Then comes the flop three community cards face up. Players can check or wager again to continue playing. That s followed by the 4th and 5th community cards the turn and the river with a round of betting before each card is turned. The player must check or make a wager equal to the ante bet on the turn and river rounds. Only the flop bet is twice the ante bet. Any player with a Poker hand that beats the dealer s wins. Players who win retain their ante bets and are paid even money on the total of their flop, turn and river wagers. If the player s hand is equal to the dealer s, it s a push. When the player s winning hand is a Straight or better, they are paid an additional amount equal to the ante. There is also an additional Bonus wager that can be made before the start of the hand in which the player can win regardless of how their hand matches up to the dealer s. This bet is based on the player s original two card hand. 12 Mississippi Stud Poker Mississippi Stud is an exciting Five Card Poker game with payouts as high as 500 to 1 and players compete against a pay table, not against the dealer or other players. Play Each player receives 2 cards which they will use in addition to 3 community cards to make their traditional poker hand. Players must wager an ante to play. The dealer will deliver 2 cards to each player. Each player in turn will decide to either fold or buy the first community card (called the 3rd street) by betting 1x, 2x or 3x their ante. When that card is revealed, they either fold or buy the second community card (the 4th) at 1x, 2x or 3x their ante. After that card is revealed they either fold or buy the third and final community card (the 5th) at 1x, 2x or 3x their ante. After all three community cards have been shown, the dealer compares the player s hand (the player s two cards plus the community cards) to the posted pay table and pays, takes or pushes in accordance to the pay table. 14 Spanish 21 Spanish 21 is played with standard decks of cards. The only exception to the standard decks is that all number 10 cards and jokers are removed, a Spanish 21 deck consists of 48 cards (two nine, J, Q, K, A; no number 10 cards). Player wins on all Blackjacks and is paid immediately. Players win on all hands totaling 21. Insurance is permitted. Players may bet up to ½ the original bet, on any hand. Insurance Permitted Players may bet up to ½ the original bet, on any hand. Double Down Players may Double Down on any amount of cards 2, 3, 4 or more cards, including after splitting. Players may Double Down for Less. Player options after Double Down (without busting) are 1) Rescue the doubled portion, or 2) stand. Bonuses are NOT paid on doubled hands. Original and doubled bets are always paid even money. Double Down Rescue After doubling, players may choose to RESCUE (take back) the DOUBLED portion on the bet and forfeit the ORIGINAL bet. Note: Busted doubles cannot be rescued. Double Down Rescue should not be confused with or called Surrender. A player may surrender any 2 card hand after the dealer has checked for Blackjack and always gives up ½ the bet. RESCUE on the other hand applies only to a DOUBLED hand which will be 3 or more cards, and only the doubled portion can be RESCUED (sometimes less than half the total wager, e.g., on a Double Down for Less). Pair Splitting Players may split cards of equal value, including Aces, to create up to four hands. Aces are treated like any other pairs. Note: when Aces are split, one card is dealt to the first split Ace before the player makes his next decision. Hitting and Doubling of split hands, including Aces, is allowed. Bonuses are paid on split hands. But splitting (and doubling) voids the SUPER BONUS.

15 Late Surrender Player may surrender (forfeit) ½ of his original bet, on his first two cards only, against any dealer up card. If dealer up card is a Face or Ace, dealer must first check for Blackjack; if no dealer Blackjack, player may surrender. Note: Player cannot surrender against Blackjack. 16 Craps The game of Craps begins with the come-out roll. The dice are offered to players in a clockwise direction around the table. The shooter selects a pair of dice and tosses them past the stickperson to the other end of the game. An effort must be made to bounce both dice off the wall at the end of the table. A player must bet either the pass line or the don t pass line to be eligible to shoot. Pass line On the come-out roll, 7 or 11 wins and 2, 3 or 12 (Craps) loses. Any other number will be the point. To win, the point must be repeated before 7 rolls. If 7 rolls before the point, the pass line loses and the dice are offered to the next shooter. A pass line wager is a contract bet; it can be increased but it cannot be reduced or removed once the point is established, until it wins. Don t pass line The don t pass line is the opposite of the pass line. On the come-out roll; 7 or 11 loses and 2 or 3 wins and 12 is a standoff. Any other number becomes the point. If a 7 rolls before the point, the don t pass wins and the dice are offered to the next shooter. If the point is repeated prior to the 7, the wager loses. Don t pass wagers may not be wagered or increased once the point is established. Come bets Come bets are similar to the pass line bets. They may be made on any roll subsequent to the come-out roll. The come rules are the same as the pass line rules. The only difference is that the dealer moves the wager to a box that corresponds to the number that was rolled. Come bets work on the come-out roll; odds are off unless otherwise stated.

17 Don t come bets Don t come rules are the same as don t pass rules. The don t come may be bet on any roll subsequent to the come-out roll. The dealer moves the wager to a corresponding box behind the number rolled. Don t come bets, and the odds, work on the come-out roll unless otherwise taken down at the player s request. Place bets Place bets are a wager that a specified number (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10) will roll before a 7 rolls. The payoff is: 7 to 6 on the 6 and 8, 7 to 5 on the 5 and 9, 9 to 5 on the 4 and 10. To make a place bet, tell the dealer which number or numbers are desired and how much is to be wagered. Set the bet on the apron in front of you and the dealer will place it in the appropriate spot. Place bets stay up until a 7 out rolls, or the player specifies that they be taken down or off. Place bets are off on the come-out roll unless otherwise stated. Field bets Field bets are one-roll bets that may be made at any time. 2 and 12 pay double and 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 pay even money. Any other number loses. This wager is placed and removed by the player. Big 6 and big 8 A bet on the big 6 or big 8 may be made at any time. If the number bet rolls before a 7, the wager is paid even money. The wager is placed and removed by the player. RIVERS CASINO 17

18 Odds This wager is made as an addition to the pass or don t pass, come or don t come bets. Pass line odds are set directly behind the original pass line bet by the player. Don t pass odds are set beside the original don t pass line bet by the player. Come and don t come odds are set in place by the dealer at the request of a player. These wagers are paid according to the true odds of the dice: Point or number 4 and 10 5 and 9 6 and 8 Don t come and Don t pass line odds 1 to 2 2 to 3 5 to 6 Come and pass odds 2 to 1 3 to 2 6 to 5 Proposition bets Proposition bets are located in the center of the Craps game and are booked by the stickperson. The following proposition bets are one-roll bets: Horn bet A horn bet is a four-way split wager on 2, 3, 11, and 12 (may be bet individually). 2 and 12 pay 30 to 1 and 3 and 11 pay 15 to 1. Any Craps Any Craps is a wager that includes 2, 3, and 12. The payoff is 7 to 1. Craps/11 split Any Craps rolls: pays 3 times bet. 11 rolls: pays 7 times the bet.

19 Hardways A hardway bet is a wager that a number will roll as a pair before it rolls other than a pair or before a 7 rolls. 4 and 10 pay 7 to 1, 6 and 8 pay 9 to 1. Hardways may be bet at any time. Hardways are off on the come-out roll unless otherwise stated. Fire bet Fire bet is a side wager that can be made in conjunction with Craps that must be made before the shooter s first come-out roll and is based on how many individual points are made. 4 Individual Points 25 for 1 5 Individual Points 250 for 1 6 Individual Points 1,000 for 1 RIVERS CASINO 19

20 Roulette The Roulette wheel is divided into 38 spaces. Numbers 1 through 36 are colored red or black. The 0 and 00 are green. Wagers may be made with casino cheques or the more commonly used roulette chips. When chips are purchased at the table, the dealer will issue each player individually colored chips. These chips help the dealer and the players keep track of each person s bet. The Roulette chips have no value except at the game on which they were issued. Redeem them before leaving that game. Play begins when players place their bets on the numbered layout. The dealer spins the ball in the opposite direction that the wheel is spinning. A few revolutions before the ball drops the dealer will announce: no more bets. The dealer will mark the number in which the ball has landed and pay all winning bets accordingly.

22 Baccarat/ Mini Baccarat There are three ways to make a wager at the Baccarat table. One may bet the player, banker or tie. Two cards are dealt to the player and two cards are dealt to the banker. The hand with a point total closest to 9 wins. Points are tallied as follows: all cards numbered 2 through 9 are counted at face value, 10s (cards totaling 10 and face cards) count as zero and aces count as 1. If the cards total a two-digit number, only the last digit counts. Example: = 13, 13 counts as 3. Winning player and banker bets are paid even money. Winning banker bets are charged a 5% commission. Winning tie bets are paid 8 to 1. Third card rule dictates whole game. RULES: player When Player s first two cards total: Draws a card 6-7 Stands 8-9 Natural Neither hand draws When the Player stands on a 6 or 7, the Banker will always draw on totals of and 5, and stand on and 9. 23 Dragon bonus bets Dragon Bonus is a side wager where players are paid on the margin of a win on which they bet. For example, if a player wins by 9 with a non-natural, they are paid 30 to 1 on their side wager. Natural ties are a push and natural winners are paid even money. Dragon bets lose on non-natural ties. 24 Pai Gow Poker Pai Gow Poker is an exciting combination of regular Poker and the game of Pai Gow. A regular deck of playing cards is used, including a joker. Players make regular poker hands (Pairs, Straights, Flushes, Full Houses, etc.). From the game of Pai Gow comes the concept of two hands (a high hand and a low hand) as well as a 5% commission paid to the house. In this game, the joker is not a wild card, but may be used as an ace or to complete a Straight, Flush, Royal Flush or Straight Flush. In this game, the 2nd highest Straight or Straight Flush is 5, 4, 3, 2 and Ace (only after Ace, King, Queen, Jack and 10). The lowest possible Straight or Straight Flush is 6, 5, 4, 3 and 2. Rules Each player is dealt seven cards of which the player creates two hands, a two card hand (top hand) and a five card hand (bottom hand). The rankings in each of the hands are that of regular poker, the highest ranking two-card hand being a pair of aces, and the highest ranking five-card hand being five aces (using the Joker as a fifth Ace). The five-card hand (bottom hand) must be of higher rank than the two-card hand (top hand). The object of the game is for both of the player s hands to be of higher rank than both of the dealer s hands. If the player wins one hand and the dealer wins the other, the bet is considered a push or tie. If both of the dealer s hands are equal to or higher than those of the player, the bet shall lose. Winning hands are paid even money and a commission of 5% is collected immediately.

25 FORTUNE BONUS In addition to the game of Pai Gow, this optional side bet wins when a qualifying Five Card Poker hand of a Straight or better is created using all seven cards dealt to the player. When any player at the table achieves a five card hand of Four of a Kind or better, the other players that have placed a bonus wager of $ 5 or more qualify to receive the Envy Bonus payout from the bonus pay table.
