OFFICIAL RULES Horseshoe may change or cancel this promotion at any time with OCCC approval. Bad Beat means a qualifying high ranking hand that is beaten by a higher qualifying hand. Texas Hold em games that take the promotional dollar are exclusively eligible for this promotion. Limit Hold em games $10-$20 and lower NL Hold em games, $5-$5 and lower A minimum of four players must be dealt in on the initial deal to qualify. The pot must be at least $10 to qualify. To qualify for a four-of a-kind, a pocket pair is required. Both cards in a players hand must be used to qualify for all straight flushes. All players must play their best possible hand to qualify for the Bad Beat. The hand must play to a showdown in order to qualify for the Bad Beat and all eligible hands must be turned face up on the table. If more than two players have qualifying Bad Beat hands in one deal, then the two highest ranking hands will be considered for the winner and loser shares of the Bad Beat payout. Payouts for the Bad Beat are as follows: 40% of the Bad Beat will be awarded to the player with the losing hand. 20% of the Bad Beat will be awarded to the player with the winning hand. 40% of the Bad Beat will be awarded equally among the players at the table who received cards at the beginning of the hand and are present during the deal. Players must play their hands independently. Any discussion of the prize during game play may void qualification for the Bad Beat. If any player whether directly or indirectly involved in the hand, passes information or instructs another player on how to act or reveals his hand to other players, the Bad Beat may be disqualified. All appropriate paperwork must be filled out to receive a payout. A valid ID and Total Rewards card is required. Anyone who qualifies for a payout that doesn t provide the proper identification within a reasonable amount of time will not receive payout and their portion will go back to the poker promotional money account. Horseshoe will verify eligibility of all qualifying hands. There may be no recourse if cards are mucked prior to proper verification by Horseshoe. If multiple qualifying Bad Beat hands are dealt simultaneously on separate tables, the jackpot amount will be divided equally between these tables. The divided jackpots will be awarded to each individual table using the percentages stated above. In the case the amount divided by multiple tables is less than $10,000 per table, all tables will be awarded the full amount of $10,000 each. A poker hand begins on the first riffle of the cards or when the dealer pushes the shuffle machine button and the hand that started first will be awarded the most current Bad Beat. The Bad Beat may be void in the event of the following: Too many or too few burn cards Fouled deck - too many or too few cards in play Cards dealt out of sequence Cards having left the clear view of the table Poker promotions are funded by the poker promotional account. 3 ROOM RULES & ETIQUETTE Rake & Time Charges will be posted at the table. All games are table stakes. Only one player per hand. Check and raise is permitted. One bet and four raises are allowed, except when only two players remain. Big Bet Poker games have unlimited number of raises. Players must protect their hands at all times, protecting a hand not only means the physical cards but also their interest in the pot. A Player who fails to protect their hand may have no recourse if the hand is fouled. Cards speak for themselves. Dealer will assist in reading hands once the cards have been tabled face up. All seating is controlled by poker staff. No short buy-ins are allowed. Horseshoe is not responsible for chips or other personal items left on the table in the player s absense. String bets are not allowed. Discourteous behavior and abusive language will not be tolerated. English will be the only language allowed when a hand is in progress. All players who engage in unethical actions that compromise the integrity of the game may be subject to eviction and prosecution. Decision of the Poker Supervisor is final. Five Card Stud In Five Card Stud each player will put an ante in to the pot to begin each hand. Each player will receive one hole card and a face up card as their starting hand. The player with the lowest up card will initiate the action with a forced bring in. The action continues in a clockwise rotation around the table with each player having the choices of calling, raising, or folding. After the betting round is complete, each player receives another face up card, this time with the action starting on the player with the highest hand showing. All players have the choice of checking, betting, raising or folding, depending on the action they re facing. Two more rounds of face up cards are dealt with the action on each round being initiated by the high hand. Following the last betting round, the player with the best five card poker hand wins the pot. Five Card Draw In Five Card Draw players will put an ante and/or blind(s) in to the pot to begin each hand. Each player will receive five hole cards as their starting hand. The player immediately left of the blinds will start the action. The action continues in a clockwise rotation around the table with each player having the choices of calling, raising, or folding. After the betting round is complete, each player in turn clockwise has the option to exchange as many of their hole cards with new cards from the deck. After the draw round, action starts to the left of the button in a clockwise rotation players have the choice of checking, betting, raising or folding, depending on the action they re facing. Five Card Draw can be played with one, two or three draw rounds with a betting round always following the draw round. Five Card Draw is played High, Hi-Lo Eight or Better and Lowball. The player with the best five card hand wins the pot. If a tie exists between multiple players for the high or low portion of the pot and this portion can t be divided equally, the player(s) closest to the left of the button shall win the excess amount. For Five-Card Draw Lowball, the player with the best ranking five-card low hand. The best hand in Five-Card Draw Lowball is the wheel and differs between Ace to Five Lowball and Deuce to Seven Lowball as stated in the Hand Rankings section.

4 Seven Card Stud In Seven Card Stud each player will put an ante in to the pot to begin each hand. Each player will receive two hole cards and a face up card as their starting hand. The player with the lowest up card will initiate the action with a forced bring in. The action continues in a clockwise rotation around the table with each player having the choices of calling, raising, or folding. After the betting round is complete, each player receives another face up card, this time with the action starting on the player with the highest hand showing. All players have the choice of checking, betting, raising or folding, depending on the action they re facing. Two more rounds of face up cards are dealt with the action on each round being initiated by the high hand. The final card received by each player is face down and followed by a last betting round which is initiated by the high hand. Following the last betting round, the player with the best five card poker hand wins the pot. If a tie exists between multiple players for the high or low portion of the pot and this portion can t be divided equally, the player with the highest or lowest card by suit shall win the excess amount. A player shall be allowed to play any combination of their seven cards to form both a high and a low hand. An ace can be played as the highest and the lowest card for hand ranking purposes. This allows the player to content for both the high and the low. Fixed Limit Seven-Card Stud games shall use the lower betting limit during the first two betting rounds and the higher betting limit during final three betting rounds. Seven-Card Stud High may allow players to bet the higher betting limit on the second betting round when a players first two up-cards are paired. Razz Razz is a form of Seven Card Stud Lowball in which the strongest hand value is the lowest. The best possible hand consists of 5, 4, 3, 2, Ace and is called the wheel. The game is dealt identical to Seven Card Stud with the exception that the high card has the initial forced bring in and all other betting rounds begin with action on the player with the lowest hand showing. 5 Texas Hold em Omaha Texas Hold em games use a round disc, called a dealer button to indicate the dealer for that hand. The player with the button is last to receive cards and is last to act on all rounds except the first. Immediately to the left of the button are one or more blind bets. Blinds are posted before players receive cards. Blinds are part of that players initial bet, and are live, meaning that the player has the option of raising after all other players have acted. The dealer button and blinds are held by all players in turn in consecutive clockwise order. Each player receives two cards face down as their hole cards. After all players are dealt cards, there is a round of betting, starting with the player to the left of the blinds. Each player in turn clockwise has the options of calling the bet, raising or folding. All blinds have an option of completing the bet, raising or folding. Next, three community cards are dealt face up on the table (the Flop ). All players use the Flop in conjunction with their hole cards. There is now a second round of betting, starting with the person to the left of the button. Each player, in turn, has the option of checking, betting or folding. If there is a bet, the rest of the players have the options of calling, raising or folding. This action continues clockwise around the table until all the players have called all bets and raises. A variation of Texas Hold em is Omaha. Some differences in the two games are: Each player starts with four hole cards. Players must use exactly two of their hole cards in combination with three of the community cards to make the best five card poker hand. Omaha can be played High, Hi-Lo Eight or better and Big O. Hi-Lo (Eight or Better, Hi-Lo Split) means that the pot can be split between the highest and he lowest five card poker hands. The low hand has a qualifier that all five cards are below eight. Players may use one combination of cards to make a high hand and the same or any other combination of cards to make a low hand, as long as each hand uses exactly two hole cards and three community cards. If no player has a qualifying low hand, the high hand wins the entire pot, or scoops the pot. Big O has the same rules as Omaha except each player has five hole cards. A forth community card is dealt face up (the Turn ), followed by another round of betting with the same actions as the Flop. Finally, the last card is dealt face up (the River ), with a round of betting to follow. After all bets and raises are called, the player with the best five card poker hand, using any combination of their hole cards and the community cards, wins the pot. If a tie exists between multiple players and the pot can t be divided equally, the player(s) closest to the left of the button shall win the excess amount.
