2 Deep knowledge DWF s Marine, Trade and Energy practice focuses on commodities, shipping, insurance, cargo, freight and logistics. We provide legal services to global commodity trading houses, charterers, underwriters, terminal operators and ship owners on a range of issues including those which relate specifically to oil and gas, metals and bio fuel. During this period Charlotte dealt with contentious and non-contentious issues under non-ferrous metals, coal and iron ore contracts, as well as international warehousing agreements and standard commercial agreements. This related to the liability of charterers and involved a large number of complex issues and detailed legal argument on pollution covers.
