1 Implementation of the New Compliance Database and Research Administration Software System for SUNY SUNY PACS Pre-Award Compliance System David R. Pawlowski, PhD, RBP Biosafety Officer, SUNY at Buffalo
2 SUNY PACS is a multi-year collaborative project to implement the online "Click Portal" solution to support principal investigators, students, and compliance and research administration staff. It will automate the submission, review, approval, and ongoing management of all major aspects of the research administration and compliance lifecycle from proposal development and submission through compliance checks, negotiations, award set up and management to eventual project close-out. 21 FAQs 1. What is the SUNY PACS implementation plan? Eventually, the modules will be rolled out to all 30 SUNY campuses along with the associated training. 2. What is the SUNY PACS Training Plan? Six campuses University at Buffalo, Stony Brook University, University at Albany, Binghamton University, Upstate Medical University and SUNY Downstate Medical Center will have their own trainers, the RF s central office will have trainers for the other campuses. The central office trainers will support the other six campuses when necessary.
