Supports a variety of project deliverables without having to store multiple Visio, Word and Excel type documents in a separate eroom and the accompanying version control issues Projects can easily upgrade to the Advanced IndustryPrint modeling filter with full enterprise BPA capability

17 IndustryPrint Report Builder Overview Traditionally, reports in ARIS are developed using custom Java Script and skilled Java programmers Deloitte has simplified this by providing the first multidimensional report workbench for ARIS Allows end-users to configure, save and share a variety of custom Microsoft Word and Excel pivot table reports across six modeling dimensions Follows the IndustryPrint modeling Capability Framework (IPCF) Allows a variety of standard project deliverables from Deloitte's business transformation and technology implementation methodologies to be created directly from ARIS. Users can create and easily share reports across databases in a secure manner without resorting to custom Java script development. 25 Industry Print Report Builder (IPRB) Capabilities Summary October 24, Custom reports for function objects & related library objects can be configured, modified and managed via easy to navigate screens Information on library objects can be included as modeled on FADs, or for selected libraries Output can be created in either Excel or Word formats. The user selects this option at the start of their session Users can create their own custom templates to further customize Excel reports with headers, charts, pivot tables or other tabs Predecessor and successor and relationship information can be shown Advanced sorting capabilities are provided in Excel Best of all.users can save their custom reports for reuse and distribution to their projects, or for an entire method/service line! 26 Lessons learned over the last three years with ARIS October 24, True Enterprise Process Modeling means that everyone in the enterprise has access to the models and contributes to their development and maintenance Process Modeling is not everything a person does; it is something they do as part of their job Cannot expect people to maintain models carefully if it is hard to do Need to simplify and automate Models should be presentable at a high level for ease of understanding by process owners, but then allow for detailed information to be captured by specialists ARIS is not an Information Technology tool; it is an Enterprise Business Process Analysis tool Frontline business people need to develop and maintain the models Make it as easy as possible for them to learn and get started Managing global ARIS web infrastructure is a complex task.we are looking forward to ARIS 9!
