4 Overview This CD includes reproducible pictures that may be used to facilitate the development of basic vocabulary skills. Words commonly used at home and school are emphasized. As the owner of this publication, you may reproduce these pictures, as often as necessary, for use with your students. The pictures may be distributed to parents of your students for home practice. Section 1 includes pictures of common nouns and basic spatial concepts. Section 2 includes pictures of common actions and activities. Section 3 includes basic sign language symbols. Reproducible record forms are included for each picture category. These forms include a listing of the target vocabulary in both English and Spanish. iv
