7 Case Management & Planning Camps & Recreation Service Coordination Andrew Fleck Child Care Services Camp Leo English summer camp designed exclusively for children 6-18 on the autism spectrum and run by the Ottawa chapter of the Autism Society of Ontario (ASO). City of Ottawa City programs include integration services, therapeutic recreation programs, special needs programming for children and adults and special needs camps. The goal of the School Support Program is to work directly with teachers, educational assistants and other education professionals to enhance supports available to any student with ASD (including Asperger s and PDD- NOS) in publicly funded school boards. Services are offered through consultation, training, and resource development. Requests for service for the SSP are sent by the School Boards. Parents cannot refer their child directly to this service. Connections for Students: A bilingual program of the Children s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) funded through the Ministry of Child and Youth Services (MCYS). Provides services to help facilitate the transition from IBI to the school setting. These will help your child to better adapt to the school environment and they will help educational stakeholders best support your child s learning as he or she transitions to school full time.
