LEGACY PGP SECURITY: PGP Security has recently moved to a business and pricing model that is more focused on valuable point products and less focused on "suites" of products containing some components that customers may not wish to purchase. The intent is to allow customers much more flexibility to just buy the products they will use and to simplify the overall process. However, we recognize that a lot of our past customers have purchased suites and will want to renew licenses and support when their subscriptions or support contracts expire. The following should help provide guidance on the set of SKUs that would represent the single old SKU that has been discontinued. PGP Desktop Security, Network Protection Edition (PDF) maps to PDW+PDV This suite contained two components of the PGP Desktop product - the distributed firewall and intrusion detection (PDW-DRCT-NA-700-A/P OR PDWxxE-AA) and the VPN client (PDV-DRCT-NA-700-A/P OR PDVxxE-AA). Both are also delivered with PGPadmin. PGP Desktop Security, Data Protection Ed. (PDD) maps to PMF+PDS This suite contained two components of the PGP Desktop product - PGPmail & file, the , message and file encryption (PMF-DRCT-NA-700-A/P or PMFxxE-AA) and PGPdisk, the disk encryption (PDS-DRCT-NA-700-A/P OR PDSxxE-AA). the disk encryption (PDS-DRCT-NA-700-A/P OR PDSxxE-AA). Both are also delivered with PGPadmin. PGP Command Lines for Workstation (PGC) maps to PRC or PCD PGP Command Line for workstations was intended for the personal use of a Unix workstation user as an interactive desktop product. Many purchases of this product actually used this product in ways not authorized by the license with automated scripts or in a batch processing manner. For batch processing, scripted or integrated use the appropriate product is PGP E-Business Server (PRC-DRCT-NA-700-AV/PV OR PRCxxE-AM). This is priced PER CPU and the customer should purchase the appropriate number of CPU licensing for using PGP E-Business Server. If a customer is using copies of PGC as intended by users at their workstations, then they can contact a PGP sales representative for a renewal quotation based upon the PGP Corporate Desktop Suite (PCD-DRCT-NA-700-A/P or PCDxxE-AA). PGP Desktop Security, Enterprise (PDE) maps to PMF+PDS+PDV+PDW or PCD This suite contained all components of the desktop, but did not include the PGP KeyServer or PGPwireless. The four components of PGP Desktop Security for renewals are PGPmail & file (PMF-DRCT-NA-700-A/P OR PMFxxE-AA), PGPdisk (PDS-DRCT-NA-700-A/P OR PDSxxE-AA), PGPfire distributed firewall and intrusion detection (PDW-DRCT-NA-700-A/P OR PDWxxE-AA), and the PGPnet VPN client (PDV-DRCT-NA-700-A/P OR PDVxxE-AA). All are delivered with PGPadmin. If a customer does not use all four components, they may wish to renew only the components that they use. Alternatively, the customer could renew to the PGP Corporate Desktop (PCD-DRCT-NA-700-A/P OR PCDxxE-AA) suite and get all of the components above plus the PGP Cert Server and PGPwireless for PalmOS. PGP VPN Suite (PPV) maps to GFX+PMF+PDS+PDV+PDW or GFX+PCD This suite contained Gauntlet firewall and VPN servers (GFX-DRCT-NA-550-AV/PV OR GFXxxE-AJ) plus all components of the desktop, but did not include the PGP Cert Server or PGPwireless. CyberCop Intrusion Protection Suite (CIP) maps to CMN+CSC This suite contained CyberCop Scanner (CSC-DRCT-NA-550-A/P OR CSCxxE-AA) and CyberCop Monitor (CMN-DRCT-NA-250-A/P OR CMNxxE-AA). Gauntlet Active Firewall Suite (GAF) maps to GFX+CMN+CSC+WNT This suite contained the Gauntlet firewall (GFX-DRCT-NA-550-AV/PV OR GFXxxE-AJ), CyberCop Scanner (CSC-DRCT-NA-550-A/P OR CSCxxE-AA), CyberCop Monitor (CMN-DRCT-NA-250-A/P OR CMNxxE-AA), Event Orchestrator and WebShield SMTP NT (WNT-DRCT-NA-450-A/C OR WNTxxE-AA), a McAfee anti-virus gateway product. All of these can renewed individually except event orchestrator. Event Orchestrator does not currently have a new release planned, but the current version will be supported for customers who renew the other components. If many firewall servers are in use, please renew GFX licenses and/or support for each of them.

7 Total Network Security (TNS) maps to PMF+PDS+PDV+PDW+PMG+GFX+CMN+CSC+WNT or PCD+GFX+CSC+CMN+WNT This suite included all of the security subsuites and mapped to the old Gauntlet Active Firewall Suite (GAF) + PGP Data Security Suite (PGR) suites. You can look at the descriptions of those legacy components for more details and options, but the complete set of products in the shortest mapping is to PCD+GFX+CSC+CMN+WNT, (PCD-DRCT-NA-700-A/P, GFX-DRCT-NA-550-AV/PV, CSC-DRCT-NA-550-A/P, CMN-DRCT-NA-250-A/P, WNT-DRCT-NA-450-A/C) OR (PCDxxE-AA, GFXxxE-AJ, CSCxxE-AA, CMNxxE-AA, & WNTxxE-AA). For TNS renewals the customer should really identify which components are actually being used and renew those specific components.
