10 Additional information
11 GEYSERS Architecture basic concepts Infrastructure service provisioning Service consisting on the offer of a net+it resources composition tuned to the suitable support of an upper application/service. Virtual Infrastructure (and its services on top) Instantiated from an underlying physical infrastructure (e.g. net+it), consists on a new composition of virtual network and IT resources (generated from the abstraction, partition, aggregation) conforming a new topology optimized for a certain use (with higher granularity and adaptation than the underlying physical infrastructure). Dynamic service Is a Service adaptable to use, for instance, Dynamic Infrastructure provisioning service will consist on a net+it resources composition that may evolve in time as use evolves, which is provisioning extra net and/or IT resources when needed or decommissioning resources when unused. Re-planing Recalculation of the virtual infrastructure when the current one doesn't fulfill in an optimal fashion the on top service requirements.
