2 2 SUMMARY OF COVER CHARITY INSURANCE summary of cover CHARITY INSURANCE This isurace policy is desiged to meet the eeds of charities or ot-for-profit orgaisatios operatig withi the Republic of Irelad. You ca choose the isurace cover you eed from a wide rage of sectios. You ca select all 11 of the sectios available for truly comprehesive cover. If you are a smaller orgaisatio with o cetral place of admiistratio you ca opt for the Liabilities ad Legal expeses sectios oly. The policy is uderwritte by Ecclesiastical Isurace Office plc. This policy summary does ot cotai full details ad coditios of the isurace these are located i the policy documet. We will sed the policy documet to you after you have take out the isurace, but it is available beforehad from us or your advisor, o request. The policy shall be govered by ad costrued i accordace with the law of the Republic of Irelad. Liabilities Features ad beefits Employers liability cover agaist legal liability for ijury to employees, 13,000,000 iclusive of all legal costs ad expeses. Public & products liability cover agaist legal liability for ijury to others or damage to their property. You ca select either 6,500,000 or 10,000,000 limit of idemity. Legal costs ad expeses payable i additio. Extesios iclude: Legal costs ad expeses, up to 600,000 ay oe claim, for defedig prosecutios uder the Safety Health ad Welfare at Work Act 2005, the Sale of Goods ad Supply of Services Act 1980, Liability for Defective Products Act 1991 ad the Food Safety Authority of Irelad Act Overseas persoal liability Whe you are overseas o busiess this covers your persoal liability for up to 5,000,000. Charity trustee isurace up to 125,000 ( 50,000 for documets) ay oe claim / ay oe period of isurace, iclusive of all legal costs ad expeses. The legal expeses cover is provided by DAS Legal Expeses Isurace Compay Limited (DAS) Features ad beefits A limit of 150,000 to protect your legal positio o a rage of employmet or busiess disputes. Higher limits are available upo request. Wide employmet practices liability cover meas that we will defed employers at employmet tribuals uless there is o possibility of defedig the policyholder s positio. For other civil claims it must be more likely tha ot that the isured perso will recover damages or make a successful defece of their claim. Compesatio awards where we agree to cover your claim uder employmet disputes, we will also pay ay compesatio award up to 1,500,000 for all claims i ay oe period of isurace. Higher award limits apply whe you select a icreased limit of idemity. Statutory licece protectio we will represet you i appealig to the relevat authority followig loss of your licece. Value added service: All provided by DAS: Commercial legal advice helplie. Cousellig helplie for your employees ad their immediate family who live with them. Costs ad expeses icurred before DAS s writte acceptace of a claim. Claims reported more tha 180 days after you should have kow about the icidet. Compesatio awards cover will be subject to you bearig 10% of the cost of compesatio claims subject to a miimum of 1,500. Statutory licece cover, excludig licece appeals relatig to motor vehicles.

Uless stated otherwise, this is the most we will pay for a claim. Full rage of isured risks such as fire, theft, storm, flood ad malicious damage. Optios for accidetal damage, subsidece ad theft. Iflatio protectio you choose either idex-likig or a automatic uplift to sums isured. Extesios iclude: Public Authorities 15% of buildigs sum isured to cover cost of complyig with legislatio followig a fire or other isured evet. Up to 6,000 all risks cover, ay oe period of isurace, for uspecified property aywhere i the Republic of Irelad. Raffle prizes ad doated goods covered up to 2,250 ay oe period of isurace whilst at the home of trustees employees or authorised voluteers. Sigificat or uusual exclusios or limitatios Stadard excess 250 ( 1,300 for subsidece). Ay requiremets of the Public Authorities which are i place before the damage occurred. If the premises become uoccupied, uteated or ot i use, you must tell us. Cover will reduce to fire, lightig, explosio ad aircraft uless we agree otherwise. You must at all times keep the sums isured at a level that represets full value. If you do ot, your claim may be reduced i proportio to the degree of uderisurace. Settlig claims We'll work swiftly, ad deal with your claim fairly. Whe appropriate, we may appoit a cotractor to carry out the ecessary repairs

Features ad beefits Covers your loss of reveue followig a evet isured uder the Property damage sectio. Also pays for the extra costs to keep your orgaisatio ruig ad miimise your loss of reveue. Cover is provided up to a period which ca be 12 moths, 18 moths, 24 moths or 36 moths (the maximum idemity period). Extesios iclude: Loss of reveue or additioal expeses followig: Specified disease, food poisoig, defective saitatio accidetally caused, vermi if they happe at your premises ad restrictios are the placed o the premises by the competet local authority. The specified diseases that we cover are listed i the policy documet. Also covers murder, rape or suicide occurrig at the premises. The stadard limit is 375,000 or 25% of the loss of reveue sum isured, whichever is the less. Prevetio of access to premises followig damage to eighbourig property which would form a acceptable claim uder this policy. Death of patro Pays up to 30,000 ay oe period of isurace if you are affected by the death or immoral act of your patro. Fraudulet use of credit ad debit cards covers ay cards used i coectio with your busiess, 1,500 per card ay oe period of isurace. Idetity theft covers ay reasoable ad ecessary expeses you icur if your idetity is used by a third party to obtai credit, agaist your kowledge. We ll cover the idetity of the busiess as well as that of the idividual directors, trustees, parters or employees. 1,500 for all claims i ay oe period of isurace. Assault extesio: This is a optio that gives you cover if you or your employees or voluteers are attacked whilst carryig your moey. You ca choose the amout of cover required, from oe uit which gives a capital beefit of 4,000, to 10 uits which give a capital beefit of 40,000. A professioal security firm is required if over 12,000. Due to clerical or accoutig errors, depreciatio i value, uexplaied shortage, dishooured cheques or to the use of couterfeit moey. If a limit higher tha 3,000 is requested for cash i a locked safe (at the premises outside of busiess hours) cover is subject to the cash limit of the safe beig adequate. Features ad beefits Your stock ca be covered for accidetal damage whilst i trasit by road vehicles operated by you or road hauliers, set by parcel post or rail.
