11 CareerHITrac Program This program is designed to support the career & employment success of the MnHIT Student AFTER the training program as they enter the world of Health IT which will include: Workplace Skills training Career guidance, resources, tools and training Informational interviews with industry partners Referral connections with prospective employers On-site experiences with health care providers, vendors, consultants, etc.
12 PROGRAM DETAILS Total Cost: $1, ($ out of pocket for student) Financial Assistance: As part of the grant, we are offering fee stipends to individuals based off of need. The maximum stipend amount is $1, per student. Any fee remaining will be the responsibility of the student. Delivery: Mostly online/distance learning with some face-to-face sessions and on-site experiences required. Dates: January 4 th, 2011 through June, Duration: The program will last approximately weeks, beginning Each student should expect between hours of coursework each week.
