CIS emphasizes the technology side of an organization s information system. This degree aligns with the college s mission statement by providing a degree with technical training that is in high demand for the county of San Diego. Information Systems and related occupations are growing at a steady rate of over 18.8% with very high median incomes of to dollars per hour. Typical employment opportunities include computer support specialist, user support specialist, systems analyst, network support specialist, software testers and application development. Additionally our student population includes a large percentage of military retraining to reenter the job market.
