1 The 3 Main Things I ve Discovered After Making $2.1 Million Dollars in Revenue, Converting over 300,000 People into Leads, and Driving Millions of Visitors to My Landing Pages The Past Few Years 1. You Need to Track EVERYTHING Religiously. Too many people are making changes on their funnel or offers without seeing the full effect across their funnel. Case in point, I had a Squeeze Page that came out of the gate that was crushing my Control Squeeze Page. I was seeing around 35% Conversions on my Control Squeeze
2 and 46% Conversions on my new Variation 1 Squeeze Page. This was after around 3,000 clicks each hit the squeeze pages as well, so it wasn t a small test. Now Rookie or Average Marketers, would call Variation 1 a win, however Veterans know that you have to track across the whole funnel in order to see what s truly going on. When we went to track the Earnings Per Click on each of them, the Control showed a.10 Increase Over Variation 1 After running some more traffic to all 3 squeeze pages, we found that the control still won due to the EPC s as you can see below: A.6 difference across Hundreds of Thousands of Visitors is a lot of money. Most marketers would see an increase of 5.9% in Conversions and call that Squeeze a Winner, however as
3 you can see, tracking all the way through the funnel, the Control still managed to win. Most of your numbers are Lying to You I have a team member going through stats on a couple of our recurring upsells on one of our main funnels and here s what we ve found so far.. We have a Free Trial for 30 Days, then $97 a month offer as one of our Downsells. At Face Value, this converts at 8.4%, which isn t bad, considering the previous upsell ($97 a month) converts at a solid 24%. But when we look at the numbers more closely, we see that, 23.60% are refunding their initial $97 a month payment. Another 10% are cancelling before the trial even hits, and another 50% of payments are failing on the $97 when it hits. Now let s do some numbers: 84 out of 1000 people are joining the trial that hit the page.
4 20 people are refunding after the payment goes through. 40 people payments are failing. 10 More People are cancelling before the payment is even hitting. You re left with only 14 people actually paying that $97 a month, which leaves us with just a 1.4% actual take home conversion rate. At Face Value, 8.4% looks doable, but when you drill down, 1.4% is just a terrible conversion rate, therefore the offer has to be changed. You or someone on your team needs to be analyzing your Full Sales Funnel every month or you are leaving WAY too much money on the table. 2. You Need to Have a Backend That Can Recoup Your Ad Spend or Make You Money
5 The Biggest Direct Response Marketers and Companies know that the money is in the backend. You MUST be willing to breakeven or even lose money on your initial transaction or funnel, so you can scale. There are certain instances where marketers can make it work with a High Priced Front End, but most companies are making their Money on their backend, recurring offers, and their Customer List. Your number one goal as you begin to market online with Cold Traffic should be to get to Breakeven as Fast as Possible. As soon as you can do this, you can SCALE Fast! If you re putting in a Dollar into your Advertising and getting a Dollar back every single time, plus you re getting a Customer back with that Dollar, how many times would you spend that Dollar? If you re truly a Direct Response Marketing Pro and have the logistics to scale, you are going to spend that Dollar as MUCH as possible, as FAST as possible. You know that a certain percentage of your customers are going to buy more offers from you in the next days,
6 in which all of that is profit for your company (not Counting Product Cost of course) Figure out your break even point, whether it s Day 0, Day 14, Day 60, and then start to decrease the time it takes to break even by making improvements to your Funnel. 3. Build a Sales Team to Sell Higher Ticket Programs That Range From $8,000 $100,000 I feel there is no better way to make a HUGE Lump sum of CASH in your business than having a High Ticket Offer in the Backend of your Marketing Funnel that consistently and reliably gives your Sales Guys quality applications that they can close every single week of the year into High Ticket Sales. If you know your numbers, and know that you will close 1 in 6 of every single application that comes through to your SalesPeople and your lowest price point is an $8,000 Package, it completely changes the game for you.
7 You can go out and buy more traffic, crush your competitors, and ultimately serve your market more. Some niches you will not be able to do this in, but for the main ones such as Make Money Online, Fitness, Dating, Financial, you can add HUGE High Ticket Offers in your Follow Up Funnels that bring you the ABSOLUTE Best Customers that will pay you TOP Dollar for your expertise. Having a High Ticket program that get s sold over the phone is the reason why programs like MOBE (Last Figures heard were they are on pace for $50 Million a Year) and Matt Bacak s company was able to scale to over $30 Million Dollars a year.
