6 Server Management Server Management is the best way to ensure the security and efficiency of your server. A managed server delivers the highest level of service and security, allowing you to prevent hacks, stay on top of software upgrades, and monitor downtime. There is no better way to decrease the likelihood of malicious attacks and software related crashes. Server Management Services include the following services each month: Upgrading server software (PHP, MySQL, Perl, Python, cpanel, etc), Upgrading Definitions for ClamAV, MOD_SECURITY, or any other server security modules. Downtime Monitoring (if your server goes down for any reason, even if it is your fault, it will be brought back online as soon as is technically possible). [Note: Error messages displayed by your site are not considered "down" for the purposes of this maintenance contract. For example, if you have WordPress, and it is displaying an error message because of a faulty plugin you installed, this does not mean your website is "down". To be clear, "down" is defined as your website not loading up at all in a browser, or your server not responding at all. This does not mean that we will not help you troubleshoot error messages being displayed on your website, however, for the purposes of this maintenance contract, unless your site is actually "down", our uptime monitor will not send us a notification that the site is offline and not responding.
