3 The City of Toronto s Neighbourhood Action (NAP) initiative is a partnership between local residents, governments, community agencies, faith communities and businesses that creates stronger, safer and healthier neighbourhoods. Together we build on and develop new opportunities for residents with a focus on racialized youth. As a partner of NAP, North Etobicoke Local Immigration Partnership is a partnership of local organizations and groups, with Rexdale Women s Centre as trustee, which is generously funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada. Partners include local residents, community organizations, city agencies, elected officials, local businesses, etc. Together we aim for North Etobicoke to be a community where newcomers feel they can settle, adapt and integrate. This directory is designed to help recent immigrants and local residents easily and quickly find the services relevant to their lives in North Etobicoke. Some programs or contact information may change over time; we strongly recommend making a phone call and scheduling an appointment before you go. If you find any incorrect information in this directory, please contact North Etobicoke Local Immigration Partnership office at , ext Your feedback and suggestions are always welcome. 1
