Design a program that promotes participation and appeals to any fitness level or age with a fun, engaging experience. 3. Select relevant ways to measure outcomes that evaluate effectiveness.

United States 33% of adults do not participate in leisure time physical activity Kentucky 30% of adults did not participate in any physical activity within the past month Daviess County 28% of adults did not participate in any physical activity within the past month (Green River Area Development District, 2010)
10 Basis for Program Development Look at community health data. Promote physical activity in daily schedule. Create a friendly competition that offers motivation. This health movement has to start somewhere. (Why not with us?) We have the ability to have far reaching effects outside our walls! Engage community partners.
