3 63.COM 4 ABOUT US Created in 2004, Euclyde has developed a network of regional vendor-neutral, carrier-neutral and geographically distributed data centers to meet the needs of its varied customer base. In 2008, Euclyde built the first public Tier 4 Data Center in France. To date, Euclyde owns and operates three data centers and acts as consultant on several projects in the EMEA region. As an eco-responsible company, Euclyde deploys energy efficient data centers and holds several certifications, including the recent European Code of Conduct for Data Centers. Power With the rise of IT dependency, often translated in farms of blade servers, Euclyde provides 2 x 32A per rack as a standard, and can scale up to 2 x 64A per rack fed through redundant UPS clusters. Redundancy All electro-mechanical elements of Euclyde s data centers are fully redundant (2N minimum) to guarantee SLA s of 99,995% on infrastructure. Security All of Euclyde s data centers are locally and remotely monitored by CCTV. Access control is achieved through usage of proximity keycards as well as biometric readers linked to 24x7x365 activity logging. Flexibility All of Euclyde s data centers are vendor neutral. Custommers can either deploy their own equipment or lease their choice of hardware from Euclyde. Modularity Through the modular design of its data centers and computer rooms, Euclyde can easily adapt to each customer s growth strategy. Cost control All fixed and recurring charges in Euclyde data centers are clearly communicated upon contract signature. Energy is individually metered and charged based on usage. Eco-responsible infrastructures 10 Data centers are energy intensive facilities. As part of its continued efforts to reduce carbon emissions and power consumption, Euclyde is a constant early adopter of technological solutions that ensure minimum carbon emissions and efficient operations. In 2012 Euclyde joined kwh Équilibre by French utility EDF, a program through which EDF pledges, for every kwh consumed by Euclyde to add to its grid a kwh exclusively produced from renewable energy sources. By subscribing to the kwh Équilibre program, EDF Collectivités pays a portion of the price to finance the IRDEP (Institut de Recherche et de Développement sur l Energie Photovoltaïque) and the Fondation Océan Vital at a rate of 1,7 / MWh. Euclyde contributes in the development of new technologies and non-polluting electricity. In order to achieve such responsible approach, Euclyde has developped educations programs for its staff and organizes seminars for its partners and customers. Rewarded for its efforts Euclyde s continued efforts to reduce its carbon footprint, and to use energy from renewable sources have earned it the European Code of Conduct for Data Centres label, an EU initiative involving data centers that use innovative technologies to improve climate and energy efficiency for environmental purposes and to reduce their energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
