The firm was established in 1981 and confines itself to the field of Consulting, Design and Supervision in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Energy and Building Services Engineering. The company provides a high quality level of engineering services and includes in its activity every aspect and special topic of Building Services Design, regardless of building size and type, installation and materials and construction method. Formed by highly professionals with substantial practising experience, engineering know-how and scientific knowledge, the company prides itself on providing consulting services and engineering designs that reflect state of the art always in accordance to the client needs, protecting the environment and been competitive.

JEPA has over 30 years experience in this field. Public health engineering including hot and hold water design, waste and storm water drainage systems etc. This sector employs highly experienced engineers, with specialization, not only in sizing and material selection but also in water treatment plants, grey water and methods of minimizing water consumption and environmental design. Fire fighting and Suppression Systems. Our team of specialists, work with the National, the NFPA and the British Standards Specialization exists not only in designing wet or dry fire fighting systems but also on gas (CO2, FEM 200 etc) and specialized systems for protection of forests, and open areas. For the petroleum industry, JEPA is collaborating with Emenergy Engineering Ltd and Alpha Meletitiki Consultans & Engineers, and HUGHES ASSOCIATES Fire Protection Engineers. Fire detection systems where JEPA has high expertise, include addressable systems as well as VESDA s (very early smoke detection systems). Transportation. JEPA has a special sector dealing with vertical transportation (LIFTS) as well as horizontal (stairs belts conveyors). High Voltage up to 400 KV. JEPA is specialized in High Voltage substations, H.V. electrical distribution and protection automation systems and commissioning and testing of HV installations.

6 JEPA is heavily computerised, not only by employing CAD techniques but also by developing software for use in house. Being registered in numerous Technical Organisations and Societies, the implementations of new standards or design practices are utilised almost as soon as these data are published, since most of the software used is developed in-house and changes are possible. Hardware used includes HP colour electrostatic plotter, Xerox 8830 digital document system, including A0 laser printer, wide format scanner and electronic filing software, OCE Colour Wave 600 digital A0 document system, as well as xerographic and conventional printing facilities, 31 dedicated CAD stations, design and text databases on network, etc. JEPA is registered and qualified for NATO projects and registered in the EEC PHARE/ TACIS Central Consultancy Register. Activities outside Greece include USA, Hungary, Poland, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Serbia, Albania, Rumania, England and the Middle East and Africa (UAB, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Tunis etc.). Since more than 40% of our activities are abroad, we are familiar with British and American Standards and methods of construction.
