3 Kahramaa Awarded Best GCC E-Services Website KAHRAMAA won best e-service site award in the first GCC e-government Conference held in Muscat during the period from December said IT Assistant Manager, Eng. Ibrahim Mohammed Al-Emadi, head of KAHRAMAA delegation to the exhibition accompanying the conference. Among more than 70 websites of different GCC corporations, authorities, and ministries in the contest, the jury decided KAHRAMAA the best. proceeded Al-Emadi commenting that this award is added to the achievements KAHRAMAA reached thanks to the plans set up by the senior management and its continuous support for performance upgrade at all KAHRAMAA sectors. KAHRAMAA achievements reflect Qatar excellence at all levels thanks to the wise policy of H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, the Emir of Qatar, and Heir Apparent H.H. This decision came in an effort to provide the MOPH portal with a new look and higher performance, powered by Microsoft SharePoint. The project targets the most important ministries in Bahrain, (namely Shura Council, Representatives Council, Royal Court, Prime Minister Court, DPM Office, Legislation & Legal Opinion Commission, Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, and the Ministry of Shura and Representatives Councils Affairs). The 10 processes to be developed are inter-ministry critical processes. Change Management, User Adoption and Buy-In To guarantee the success of any project, the main challenge would be to work on ministries user adoption, get all stakeholders buy in to collaborate during all project phases to make the project a success.
