9 A few feedbacks about Dr. R Padmakumar I am so happy and excited to join back my school tomorrow. Thank You for saving my life and for treating me more than all, for tolerating me. I am thanking you deep from my heart. I see you next to God and i am always praying for you to have these magical hands forever and ever. -Rema Ravishanker I was admitted to your hospital on 12th of July my operation was done on the same day and i got discharged on 16th of July. The Guardian Angel Dr. PadmaKumar and his team of doctors took care of me with total care and warmth. He took time to sitdown with me before and after the operation explaining to me the smallest of the details. He helped me to go through the post operative days without any pain. -Sukku Kassim I would like to take this opportunity to offer my heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the wonderful care and treatment my wife, Sherly Viswanathan received while under your care for her surgeries and subsequent chemotherapy treatments. You spent time with us and made us feel important but more important you made us feel at ease with what we were facing. -Viswan Sankaran So far since November 2012 till date (approx. 2 months) I have lost 29 kgs and my wife has lost 20 kgs. This had a huge positive impact on our lives. I still remember the day of the surgery were after only 6 hours I was able to walk around. The recovery was really fast for both me and my wife, all praise and thanks goes to God and you with your immense expertise and care. -A M Z

10 Sleeve Gastrectomy done on 20th March. Everything is fine now, Joined office on 31st March (8 to 10 days rest is only required). Weight from 75 Kg to 68 Kg in 3 weeks. Abdomen Circumference 48 inch to 42 inch in 3 weeks. Height 5ft, so BMI 34 to 30 in 3 weeks. Overall Personality Improved (Reduced Dress size bought). Diabetic now 111 to 115 range (earlier 250 to 300 range). -Sreeja Suresh i have lost 32 kg as of yesterday and love to loose more. Doc, another favor, my wife is complaining that I become younger after the operation and then she said she is looking older in front of me. Doc, is there any vitamins that you can recommend to my wife to help here atleast to become younger on face too, 'coz she iseating my head that why people told me that I looked younger this time after the operation or she can have my vitamins too. -V V When I was back in Dubai I got on to the net and started to do my research on Gastric sleeve and also on Dr. Padma Kumar who came recommended. I found out that this was by far the safest and most effective way of reducing the weight and also avoiding looming health issues like diabetes and hypertension. Finally after undergoing preliminary tests, it was decided to have the operation on Dec 4th Before the surgery I weighed a whopping kgs and a BMI of around 48 or more. The best part of this whole exercise is now I eat small quantities and my stomach is able to tell me when to stop ( something I never felt earlier ). From a 50 waist, I am now down to a 34, from kgs I now stand at 82 kgs, my BMI now stands at 26 and all my vital functions are well within the desirable levels. -Napoleon D'souza After our meeting at Dubai, i have started drinking more water & now i feel much difference. Compated to earlier i have changed a lot on my eating habits and weight has also reduced. The difficulty of eating food and the burning feeling has also now cured. my weight is now 79 kg and sugar level at present is, fasting 5.0, 5.3 mmoi/l and under controlled. My diabetic consultant congratulated me on my improvement. My insulin is reduced gradually and i am back on metformin 500 mg bd. My HbA1C1 was 12 and i was using 60 units of insulin daily to control my diabetes but after the surgery i am not on insulin or tablets anymore and also my diabetes is well controlled now. HbA1C is now John Varghese - Sajimon Mathew - Z
