2 Lab Inventory System (LIS) 1. Register Equipment Data - Then Print out a Barcode Label and sfck it to the Equipment. This is done by the Lab Administator 2. Register User Data - Then Print out a Barcode Label and sfck it to the back of the Users Access Card (some cards have already a Barcode that can be used) 3. Equipment Loan - Scan the Barcode on the Users Access Card - Scan the Barcode located on the Equipment - Do the same when returning the Equipment

6 Label Printer App Used by the Lab Administrator in order to Print Barcode Labels on the Lab Equipment and on the Users Access Cards. Note! You need to use the Lab Inventory Web Site in order to Register Equipment and User Data Install the App on you Computer and a(ach a Dymo LabelWriter 450, then you are ready. Note! The App needs to be installed on the Computer you are using

7 Label Printer App Select between different Label Sizes, Label Text, Number of Copies, etc.: Note! Each unit of Equipment will have an unique Barcode

8 Label Printer App Labels Sizes Default choice Small: 19mm x 51mm Medium: 25mm x 55mm Large: 28mm x 89mm Use this size for small equipment USB Text Lines Equipment Type Running Number that makes all units unique Per Hansen Equipment Name Student Name Student Number

9 Equipment Loan/Return App Used by the Person that needs to Loan (and Return) Equipment You need to use a Barcode Scanner in order to use it. Note! Each unit of Equipment will have an unique Barcode This means the students need to give back the correct unit (not a unit borrowed from a friend) Equipment Loan: 1. Scan the Barcode located on the Equipment 2. Scan the Barcode on the Users Access Card - Do the same when returning the Equipment Note! The App needs to be installed on the Computer you are using
