5 Health Mental Health 1 in 4 people in the UK will experience a mental health problem each year. 9 out of 10 people with mental health problems experience stigma and discrimination. Work related stress is the biggest occupational health problem in the UK, after musculoskeletal disorders. 9 Health - Cancer Construction industry has the largest burden of Occupational Cancer amongst all industry sectors. Over 405 of occupational deaths and cancer registrations were from construction Most caused by past exposure to asbestos and silica Additionally now we have solar radiation, coal tars and pitches were responsible for additional 1300 registrations Most common still is exposure to asbestos (69%) Silica (17%) Painting and diesel engine exhaust (6-7%)

Depending on the relationship between the card checker and individual depends on what info is seen. * Employer uploads/register employee on CHAT2 Name Address Date of Birth NI Number Job Role Competence Card* Company Approves CBH Accredited Occupational Health Provider OH discuss consent with the individual and carry out medical.
