Over 405 of occupational deaths and cancer registrations were from construction Most caused by past exposure to asbestos and silica Additionally now we have solar radiation, coal tars and pitches were responsible for additional 1300 registrations Most common still is exposure to asbestos (69%) Silica (17%) Painting and diesel engine exhaust (6-7%)
