Plug and play functionality means existing or new CCTV cameras can be connected to our Cloudview Visual Network Adapters (VNA) quickly and easily. The VNA will then create a unique and secure connection to a protected account that can be accessed and acted on by an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). It is a simple and economic way to include an effective, reliable Visual Alarm Verification component into any security system. This can be used to confirm whether an alarm is genuine or false - either by ARC operators or by sharing footage via mobile, laptop or tablet. Cloudview has been designed to integrate quickly and seamlessly into monitoring centre software for ARCs. 5 Security Given the nature of the footage and the assets they are protecting it s essential that connections from CCTV sites to ARCs are 100% secure from hacking. Often, this is not the case. However, you can rest assured that Cloudview is absolutely secure. As part of the Cloudview package a unique encrypted TLS (Transport Layer Security) tunnel is automatically set-up between the client s camera and the ARC. This makes Cloudview as secure as the traditional option of setting up a VPN between each camera and the ARC, whilst being much more cost-effective. Trust Once footage has been securely sent from a client camera to the ARC it can, if required, be securely stored on Cloudview s servers for future reference. Of course, we understand the importance of security for providers and clients alike not just in terms of cost but in terms of brand reputation. That s why Cloudview offers the most up to date, state of the art data security available, with bank level encryption for all data stored - plus image hashing of all footage. Access to data is also strictly limited to authorized users. We are constantly reviewing and upgrading data protection methods as new security innovations are developed. Reliability Our service is all about visual verification of alarms and it s been built to ensure that this is the one essential we always deliver. That is why our system has a triple failsafe designed into its DNA. Our Visual Network Adapter (VNA) is able to automatically failover to 3G if the Ethernet connection fails. In the unlikely scenario of a general communications failure, data can be recorded onto the inbuilt SD card and then automatically uploaded to the ARC when a connection is re-established. Compatibility Security solutions are often a trade-off between the costs of setting up a new system and the costs saved by the system. At Cloudview we realized from inception that to be cost-effective our solution had to adapt to existing systems and not simply replace them. That s why our Visual Network Adapter is designed to integrate with and enhance existing security systems. For instance, if circumstances demand, our VNA enables ARCs to access existing CCTV cameras live to assess risks. And if an insurance company requires visual verification at an alarm only site, our VNA can easily be added with an analogue camera to deliver visual verification without a full CCTV install. Encryption All data is encrypted with bank level protection. Image Tamper Proofing CCTV Footage can be tamper proofed by applying Image Hashing to enhance legal veracity. Camera Activation Security solutions can be set to activate on motion detection and/or other external triggers. Camera status ARCs can recognize when cameras are recording, switched off or alerting. Schedule recording Schedule camera recording within specified time periods.
