The MarketingPlatform created by Daimler TSS in cooperation with its clients constitutes a state-of-the-art solution. It bundles the relevant systems and provides a uniform introduction for marketing employees at, for example, Mercedes-Benz and smart as well as their agencies. TSS does not only act as a software supplier but also provides a comprehensive solution for the high level of complexity within the project. All the necessary services, e.g. requirements engineering, software and systems architecture, software development, quality assurance, IT coordination and application management, are centrally coordinated and delivered by a single provider. Excellence in Risk Management Successful integration of IT infrastructures based on standard software The early detection, assessment and rigorous management of risks is essential in the field of finances. Risk management therefore is one of the core disciplines at Daimler Financial Services. TSS joined forces with the Financial Services department and IT to develop erdr (extended Risk Data Repository) as a new integrated system for managing interest and market risks. We have since been supporting our clients with requirements management, develop- ment and quality assurance, system integration and application management. The use of IBM Cognos, Informatica and Microsoft Sharepoint meant that several complex technologies had to be integrated here. In close cooperation with a high number of stakeholders, a successful and efficient business intelligence solution was provided. That s why cost-efficient implementation with simultaneous top-class quality goes without saying for us. TSS will identify use cases at Daimler and generate experiences in the practical world through the prototypical implementation of initial showcases and architecture blueprints. We have also created a Cloud Suitability Checklist and are actively participating in the Cloud Computing Initiative. Mobile Applications The benefits are obvious More mobile devices in use mean increasing and new opportunities for the application of IT systems. The adaptation of existing solutions to smaller displays and the restricted input methods only constitutes the beginning, here. Among other things, we carry out special tests in our mobile usability laboratory. It has in this way therefore been possible, for example, to create concrete optimization measures for EPDM.
