19 SAP NetWeaver Business Client Role-based navigation In General Roles (PFCG) are used to define authorization settings as well as the navigation structure used in the UI client SAP NetWeaver Business Client NWBC reads the navigation structure from the role(s) and builds the navigation content visualized to the user In case the role doesn t provide a maintained navigation structure, NWBC automatically uses that users might now from SAP GUI.
