No initial recognition as an APN is granted from this Non-APN List, unless there is not an APN examination available. Please contact the Oklahoma Board of Nursing office for assistance, prior to completing an application for recognition as an APN. 3. Advanced practice nurses with non-apn national certifications may continue to be recognized as APNs as long as they continue to renew their APN recognition. 4. This Non-APN Examination List may be used to correctly complete renewal applications, if the current national certification is from an examination on this list.
