7 Organized using typical What, Where, When search parameters Each site had a basic description and metadata, simplified (i.e. Stone Age)

9 Sites selected based on content that was readily available from the BL and ADS BL had the most interesting historical images, but ADS contributed other content

18 Mobile Apps[Lessons] Interface needs to be simple and clean Architecture needs to be modular and able to sit on top of our data model and business logic don t want siloed applications with limited re- use Sustainability is the highest priority at the ADS, as our time is spent on migrating the data, but with simple and modular apps, we can justify exploring new modes of dissemination for our data

22 Mobile Apps [New Partnerships] After discussion with the partners, development NEARCH Mobile will emphasize: Use of thin records to let a user discover what is around them take advantage of the spatial context Saving records to re- visit later if internet access isn t available As a case study, tie into myads to allows users to interact with data at their leisure (or on a larger screen) ADS alone has 1.3 million thin records, so may have to filter by subject, region, etc. Will be developing for ios and Android
